How to unlock the New Kids On The Block achievement in Football Manager 2023 - Definitive Guide

This can be achieved by using fake players generated at the start of a career.
1. From the main menu, click Start New Game > Career and select Manchester City.
2. Click Advanced Setup and tick the box "User Fake Players and Staff". Click Start Game.
3. Select/create a manager profile and style, progress through the next couple of screens.
4. Go to Squad, hover over Overview, select "Export Team for Versus Competition", choose a file name and save.
5. Click "FM" to open the menu and select "Quit to Start Screen".
6. Click Start New Game > Versus > 1 VS 1.
7. Set "Who can join?" to Local Players (Hotseat). Set "Use two-legged ties" to "No". Click "Create Competition".
8. Click "Import Team" then select the team you just saved and press "Load". Click "Confirm".
9. Once set up, click "Add AI Manager" at the bottom. Select any manager. Then click "Confirm".
10. Simply play the competition game. The achievement will pop after the game.
The teams are poor compared to your own so you should easily win. If you don't repeat steps 6-10.
You should also unlock Red Hot Newgen and Import To Victory achievements.

Thanks got it 2nd attempt. 1st game had over 2.6xG and drew 0-0 before losing on penalties (wish that could have at least unlocked the xG achievement)

Confirm you actually have to win within 90min. I won on pens and didn't pop but when i won inside 90min it did.

Providing your team is made up entirely of newly generated players, (i.e. players that the game just randomly created, best done after the 20 years at one club to be sure) in the Squad Selection screen click Overview, then Export Team for Versus Competition. Then from the Main Menu, Start New Game > Versus > 1v1 > Create Competition. when you go to select your team, choose Import Team in the top right of the box, and look for the saved team you made. There will be a bunch of teams listed, but the only one that matters is the one you exported yourself, the rest won't work. Select your team and click Confirm, then at the bottom of the screen choose Add Hotseat Manager. Once they've got a team selected too, play through a match, win, and the achievement will unlock.
