How to unlock the Value for Money achievement in Football Manager 2024 - Definitive Guide
This is quite easy to do if a little time consuming.
First thing to note is this cannot be completed on holiday. If you just go on holiday indefinitely you will not get any progress.
The best way to do this quickly would be as follows:
* Start a New Career
* In the Career Game Setup screen pick starting job as 'Unemployed' (this is the critical step)
* For the active leagues I recommend the Indian National Football League (in Asia) only. Any league will work but because they play a short season in India it will go quicker overall.
* Pick a small database to make things go quicker
* Use any default profile for the manager or create a new one, pick any coaching style and stats, it makes no difference, then make a save.
* Next go to the 'FM' icon in the top right of the screen and go down to 'Preferences' about half way down the menu
* In that menu hit the 'Advanced' tab and in the top right change 'Most Common' to 'All'
* Scroll about half way down the menu until you see an option 'Continue Game Timeout' under the 'Processing' section. Change this to 'Instant'
* Tick 'Increase during of processing breaks for fewer stops in play'
* You might wish to change auto saves to every year or every 5 years or just switch it off. The more often it saves the longer this will take overall but its probably worth having it on regardless.
* Hit 'Confirm' down the bottom and close the menu
* Hit 'Continue' up the top right
The game will then just automatically advance unless you touch anything, so basically just sit back and let it continuously advance for 30 years. The time it takes to go through 30 years will very much be based on the speed of your PC, for me it took about 6 hours to do the 30 years but you can just let it idle or save and come back to it. If you save and exit, just hit 'continue' to restart the process once you load back in.

Possibly wrong here. Add no badges and Sunday League experience. I was offered no jobs at all, which is not like previous ways of doing this. I'd expect you would be approached if you had top badges and a great playing career.
Since 2022, this achievement only allows 30 days of holiday in 30 years. Progress is tracked as well, in case someone messes up and goes on holiday. Likely the same here but best to avoid holidays as a whole.

I had my profile with highest level of badges and highest level playing career and never stopped once. Was the same in at least the last two games. In.all my time playing FM, I've never once been offered a job unless I applied.
