How to unlock the Mind over matter achievement in For The King - Definitive Guide
A hex area “Mind Bender” was within the “golden plains” area in the first campaign “for the king” for me. It was a level 5 battle with the mind bender (high magic armor) and two creatures (medium physical armor). The achievement popped after the battle.
Given this game is randomized, but this hex didn’t show up until the “shattered key” quest began as you retrieve a piece of the key in here.

He is also know as the mind lord. He was part of the main quest for me.

Not to be confused, there is a generic "Mind Bender" enemy that will spawn on the world map that doesn't count toward this.

You have two options for obtaining this trophy.
1) Play through the "For the King" campaign. This is one of the objectives of Act II where you must acquire fragments of a key to King's Maze. This one will be aptly named the Mind Lord, but it is of the same enemy type and thus counts.
2) Play through any campaign. These are one of a few higher threats that may appear on the world once you start properly scaling through some of the levels. If not directly found through this, there are always chances to randomly encounter them through doing dungeons and landing on random spawns in "Hildebrand's Cellar" campaign especially.
A Mind Bender and any other titles of this chthonic creature will be a magic-resistant challenging enemy with an ability that can confuse your party. If confused, there is a chance the character may actually flee the fight, thus making it harder for you to win. Be careful of this status and either come prepared or hope that your luck keeps you anchored.
