I got this early in the “for the king” campaign. Within a battle, some enemies will steal an item or gold from you on their turn. When this happens, just defeat the specific enemy that stole the item and the cheevo will pop. So far I’ve had this happen with Dire Crow, Thief, Master Thief, Scamp and Cutpurse enemies on this first map.

Once they steal, focus all attacks on them...because the next turn they get they will try to flee. Not sure I have ever seen one fail to flee either!
