How to unlock the Wet 'N Wild achievement in For The King - Definitive Guide
This occurs in the "Into The Deep" adventure. Remember that, being a randomised game, some details may differ but the overall concept should be helpful.
After a few missions in The Guardian Forest, you will receive several optional objectives at once. There will be four to purge the Water Temples in the following regions:
- Forest Isles; should be marked on a small island nearby,
- The Rogue Islands; sandy islands with a town called the Pirates Cove or similar,
- Ashfall Islands; dry, volcanic-looking islands,
- The Poison Bog; swampland with poisonous patches.
The Forest Isles temple should be marked but you will have to search for the others. Some may be on the larger landmasses so you will need to get out of your boat and search. When you get close to one, you will be notified.
Pressing when a vacant tile is highlighted will cycle through your objectives to at least give you an idea of where to go. You won't have time to go back and forth over the map so try to follow a path around the map, rather than criss-crossing over it.
The Temples take the form of randomised dungeons with several levels. The first one should be level 2 while the last was level 9. I didn't record the exact details but as long as you are around the corresponding level they shouldn't be too difficult.
While they are listed as optional, they are almost essential for this adventure. Each temple will remove or stop one of the blue flood markers, which lead to a game-over if you let 3 stack up.
As you are travelling around, look out for the optional Pirate Dens as well - completing them gives you a sweet ship for the final battle and unlocks:
Also keep an eye out for sea caves, which will appear on the smaller islands. If you can clear 5, you will unlock:
For the record, I completed the adventure using a Scholar, Tracker and Monk but tbh I haven't tried the other classes enough to make a genuine recommendation.
EDIT: A few additional tips, thanks to Legohead 1977:
- On foot you need to get quite close to the temple for it to appear.
- A good tactic if you have the patience, (trust me it's quicker than running round the map), is to obtain a vision scroll. Use it in a likely area to see if the temple appears, then quit to dashboard and reload. You then have the scroll back again.
I hope this helps and happy temple purging!

Great solution, when it came to finding the locations of the later temples we didn't realise how close you have to be to them on foot, (seemingly a lot closer than Scourge locations).

I hope someone can confirm if this works solo as we were playing online in a group of three.

Thanks Legohead 1977. I've added your advice to the solution.
I used the dashboard/reload trick a few times in this game (not specifically for this achievement) so I'm confident it works solo.
