There's plenty of options to make this easier. I would definitely unlock the skills that makes minted coins worth more, each minted coin will be worth considerably more. Coins are minted from golden ignots.

Craft wallets that make coins worth more.

Unlock the skill to make adjacent banks earn coins 50% faster.

Unlock skill so that crafted items are worth more to sell.

Craft golden pick axe, bow and sword as these create coins on mob kills and resources mined.

I wouldn't focus too much on hoarding coins as the more you unlock and level up, the quicker it is to earn coins. This will come naturally so if your playing the game, let it play out.

Pretty self explanatory. Just buy the nine cheapest lands and hoard money until it pops. If you want, you can even get the skill that reduces the cost of land to save a little. Then just build a bank or two and collect when you get the chance,maybe upgrading your wallet in the meantime, but eventually you will get it.
