Forsaken Remastered

Start an invite only free for all multiplayer game with time limit set to an hour; point limit doesn’t matter as we won’t have any opponents. I used level Alpha, but there might be better levels to choose.

Under the allowed pickup screen, disable all pickups besides orbit pulsar.

Fly around the level collecting all pickups until you have collected 8 orbital pulsars. The only other pickups you will encounter will be power pods and ammo. Fire your weapon to pick up the ammo in hopes of those pickups being replaced with an orbital pulsar.

I unlocked the achievement in about ten minutes of flying around.

Or you can do it in Multiplayer mode alone... Set the time limit as high as possible, take every item that you can find because they might get replaced by an orbital pulsar. Fire all weapon at least once so you won't be refuse an item because you're full of ammo.

To max out on the number of orbital pulsars for the achievement, you need to find 8 within approximately a 3 minute window, it may be slightly longer.

The best level I've found with enough orbitals on is Subterranean Complex. Just make sure you don't pick up any orbitals until you begin the route for them, which should only be done once you're very near the end of the level. The start of the route is around one of the earlier buttons you need to shoot to unlock the doors.

I've attached a video for the route I took, if you kill all the enemies in the corresponding rooms you should have orbitals in roughly the same location as in the video. You by no means need to rush like crazy, I made an error or bump or two on the way to getting all 8 so they could definitely be collected faster.
