At some point in the Forspoken story, you’ll unlock what are called “precision counters.” This is basically Forspoken’s parry system, although not as brutal as say, a Dark Souls game.
To get this trophy you’ll need to perform 10 precision counters (cumulative), which you do by pressing
just as an enemy is about to hit you - you’ll know when it’s the right time, because Cuff’s shield-like shell will enclose you.
Just don’t button mash for this one though, as it won’t produce the desired effect for this trophy. As the game’s tutorial says, “If you really nail the timing, you will pull off a precision counter - an extra-powerful blow that will restore Frey’s health substantially.” A successful precision counter will say “Precision Counter” in the points tally that crops up on the right under the battle score.

During that glow period is when you need to hit to activate the precision counter, which will shoot a projectile back at the enemy and push them away from you.
Note: Make sure you do not have "auto-dodge" turned on in the menu, or you will never block with Cuff, instead just dodging every incoming attack.
Warning: See the glitch mentioned in the Road Map that could affect this achievement. To be safe, get this achievement early in the game, or at least before Chapter 11 is complete.
