How to unlock the Gunsmith achievement in Fortnite - Definitive Guide

This will be done during the tutorial. When you first play the game you will be required to complete a tutorial which shows you how the various systems in the game work. Follow this tutorial and you will be ask you craft a weapon, follow the onscreen instruction on how to craft a weapon and you will get the achievement. Pretty straight forward.

no you cant there is no achievements in that mode as of yet. its all for the paid version of the game which is the PvE experience which will be going free aswell sometime in 2018.

it should automatically start the tutorial when you start the game. but if your just playing the battle royale mode which is the free to play mode then you cant do it. as its part of the PvE experience which right now you have to buy. the battle royale mode has no access to achievements as all the achievements are for the PvE part of the game.

Everybody that has this game, none of them have any achievement unlocked which is extremely weird. That’s what brought me here. Do most people not play the main story and only online where there is no achievements? What’s the deal with that?

@mrwhite2u because the achievements require paying for the game, whilst the online mode that is free has zero achievements.

Yeah I wish I could get the achievements, but I’m not paying for the game like most people.

They really should devote 4k achievement points to online mode. Even if it's just a series of Get-Xth-Place X times and Do X Daily challenges, and Do X season challenges, that would go a long way. It's super weird that the aspect of the game that is, by far, much more popular, has no achievement recognition. : /

This achievement will be picked up right at the start of the game during the tutorial level. You start the level in a mine where you will be taught how to shoot. Once you leave the mine it will ask you to cut down some tree's and cars and after you complete that task the game asks you to press cn_start then cn_A after that you need to wait about a minuet and your achievement will pop.
