How to unlock the A Quarter Mile at a Time achievement in Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast Furious - Definitive Guide

After acquiring the Jeep Wrangler you can either go for the Cuda or the GT-R, to acquire the Cuda you need to go for destruction derby event and smash 100 boards in the Jeep Wrangler.

Then you'll unlock a cross country event which you need to beat the Cuda, once beaten fast travel back to the garage from the map using cn_X.

Any idea why this one wouldn't pop? Got it back to the garage, Luda talked about it and nothing. Continued along with the walkthrough and the McLaren achievement popped.saying I had 6 of 10 cars when I have 7 in the garage.

This hasn't popped for me. I have all other acheivements for this game but this one. Been a day so I'd be surprised if it pops now. Is there anyway in starting the game from new? Can your data for the game be removed?

Manage the game from within the 'my games and apps' app on your console, save file is far right.

If it says 'Done!... Unlocking' it WILL sync just have to give it time unfortunately.

Did you delete the save file on your xbox or also on xbl before you restarted your second playthrough?

This is story related and cannot be missed, unless you ignore the story missions. You receive the Plymouth Cuda on completion of two events, a destruction event and a cross country race versus the Cuda.

The first event is a destruction derby, you need to smash 130 boards in the docks in three minutes. This is fairly easy and there are a lot more than you need so don't worry about missing a few.

The second event is a cross country race in which you must beat the Plymouth Cuda. After winning this event, just fast travel back to the garage to unlock the achievement.

Story related, cannot be missed. Unlocks after completing two events.

  • The first event requires you to smash 100 boards around the dockyard in three minutes. There are well over 100 boards on the course.
  • The second event is a cross country race in which you must beat the Plymouth Cuda.


The achievement unlocks after completing the cross country race and returning to the garage in the Plymouth Cuda.
