Once you acquire the Supra (Details here) there will be an area on the map to travel to, search this area for the Ruf and tail it for a few meters and you will be given a target to beat the Ruf to.
Once you make it here you will start a showcase event against an attack chopper, beat the chopper and the Jeep is yours once you return it to the garage after finding the barn find (You can fast travel from the map using

The Jeep Wrangler is the third car you get in the game, it is also unmissable story wise.
To get this achievement, first, make sure you have acquired the Toyota Supra '98, the second car. You will unlock a race which is around 4 miles, win it, and you will be introduced to another race
For some odd reason, on the 360, you get no nitro/turbo for this mission, on the Xbox One you do though, so this means that you should do an absolute perfect run on this race
In this race, you must beat an attack helicopter in an armoured Jeep.
This may seem extremely unfair, and although it is, you will win if you can just keep your speed at all times.
Don't skip corners, as helpful as this seems, most of the corners in this map are just turns, which will definitely lead to a crash. Just follow the arrow almost directly and you'll be fine.
Use rewind if necessary, please remember it is there.
Turn off the assisting brake, as it will brake you at something unnecessary e.g Near the end of the race slope
Also, due to the amount of times you go offroad in this mission, you may obtain this achievement just by trying to beat the race:

Definitely go without assisted brakes, although I did it with it on as I hadn't looked at the cheevo advice at the time, so it is possible.Don't ge t into the habit of racing the helicopter; ignore it and just keep to the line and make no mistakes and above all don't panic. I found that once I relaxed it was easy.

Turning off assisted braking did the trick for me too. Took 20 sec off my best time and won by .4s (But why did the chopper get 19 seconds better too???)

This is a story related achievement, you will get this while playing through the main story.

, it might be due to you having to go back to the garage to unlock it. (You start at the garage each time). I'll check now as I am about to get the Mclaren

Story related, cannot be missed. Unlocks after completing two events.
- The first event requires you to beat a RUF in a head-to-head race. (No race rvent, you will instead be shown a general area of where your opponent will be).
- The second event is a showcase in which must beat an attack helicopter to the finish line in a checkpoint race.
The achievement unlocks after completing the showcase and returning to the garage in the Jeep Wrangler.
