For those that want to try a less luck reliant method to get 50k:

Right below the airport on the map, there is a big empty space that is perfect to drift indefinitely with a drift friendly car.

In the video below, I used the Nissan GT-R and scored 137,750 pts while stopping on my own free will to claim the achievement. 50k should be a breeze.

I found this achievement would not unlock even after getting a score of 92K. I did find then when I banked the 92K combo I got a message telling me that the game had recorded a game clip of my skill chain. I was then waiting for the achievement to unlock straight after, but it never did. I ended up having to delete my saved game, then I got a chain of 40k, banked that to trigger the recording message, then did one over 50K. I then had to wait over a day for the achievement to pop. Unfortunately I have no way of proving that the recording messed up the achievement but I think re-setting the game is not too much trouble if you already have all the other achievements. It maybe takes 15 minutes after restarting to get to a position where you can start the skill chains.

make sure to stop at some point to give your combo a chance to end. I don't think it'll unlock if you crash into anything while it's active.

If you crash you loose all points I have done it in three different areas and gotten over 50k in total and nothing. All other achievements are still popping

Idk how Forza works, I guess whatever area you're in pulls your friends "ghosts" or something because there were cars driving around that area that you might have to watch out for because they can wreck you causing you to lose your combo

Yes turn off both traction control, stability control and abs. All of those will hinder your ability to drift. Also I found the jeep or the gtr work well.

Great guide, got it no problem. Only thing I would suggest is a better map picture. Took me a little bit to find the area by your mini map.

This is infuriating. I don't know how to drift, I press a but it just stops my car and I don't gain enough speed to actually continue. Grrrrrr drifting is the most pointless thing ever conceived in the history of anything

Just did this in less than one minute on my first try. Go to the race beat the Cuda located on the right side of the map in the middle. Select the Wrangler and then just race, in about a min you should have enough points to easily pass 50k. You get huge multipliers in that race for air and landscaping since it is an off road course.

I used the GT-R, continuous side-to-side e-brake drifts up and down the runway, worked perfectly first time. If you travel off the runway, just keep your chain going by jumping, burn-out, or spinning until you can get back to continuous handbrake drifting.

I ended up turning traction control off, and it made it easier. It wasnt popping for me either. I made some random restarts, and went to custom difficulty, turning off traction control and got 75k and I am lots awefull at this game. I think the difficulty tweaks make this one easier to get, where the easy and medium settings may actually be a hindrance.

Read! This is the Xbox One Guide for this Achievement! This Solution did NOT working on Xbox 360. Look at the 360 Achievement for a Solution or click here for my 360 Video

After the Campaign you can replay every Mission. Choose "Beat the Cuda" (Aquire the 1970 Cuda: Part 2), this is a Cross Country Race and as Car select the Jeep Wrangler.

Now simply drive the Race, drift a little bit, use the little Jumps etc and you have really no problems to reach the 50k Points. The most time you will reach the 50k Points in the third Curve of the Race. (35% Raceprogress)

In fact, I had to stay and keep me behind cars opponents for longer time to catch vacuum. Only that. the rest is the result. Type the drift , the jumps are consequences to be taking vacuum behind cars. I took at my first try. Anyway thanks a lot.

Easiest Method:

Chances are that you might have gotten this achievement during one of the races on the golf course, but if you didn't, don't worry as there's a super easy method!

Car: Bugatti Veyron or Nissan GT-R
Location: Airport (North)

Settings:
Steering: Normal
Traction: Off
Stability: Off
Transmission: Manual (Stay in 2nd gear)

Now, just start off on one side of the runway and gain some speed. Just start turning back and forth, which will easily drift your car. Just keep your speed, and make small turns that will get drift points. Nothing crazy. There is lots of open room here, and very little chance to make a mistake. After building up enough points, just stop you car.

Great! Worked awesome! The only additions I would make is to say that the buttons to Shift Up and down are X and B. I played the rest of the game in automatic so I had to look in the control menu to figure that out. Also I did this just before taking the McLaren back to the garage in Nissan GT-R.

Real quick achievement, but can be tricky. Start from the Garage and head West, stay on the road. Try to get as many near misses as you can. Hit some lamp posts and fences to get wreckage to keep your chain going. Should get you 60K easily.

The easiest point in the entire game to get this is when trying to get the Cuda part 2, it's ok though if you already did this, once you complete the campaign you can re-do any previous races so you can check the top right of the map for the location. *shown in video*

In the race you can draft and pass a lot there are plenty of wreckage chances and the main thing is the constant 'air' you can get keeping the chain together, following the video as a guide line you can easily pass 50,000 chain before the 40% race mark I managed 69,000 easily

Important:
Do not hit into the back of any other racer this will remove the combo you build and if you fail you can restart the race as many times as you like until you grab the achievement!

I don't like racing games and they don't like me but this one was free at the time so I figured why not. This achievement seems to be the only one you may not get simply by playing through the game normally. I coudn't get this using any drifting method but it turns out that during the Get The 'Cuda - Part 2 mission, driving poorly actually helps! Use the Jeep. Go into settings: Traction - Off, Stability - Off, Difficulty - Hard or Insane. The reason for these settings is that you want to bounce and slide all over the place and have the AI drivers good enough to stay ahead of you and out of the way so they don't break your chain.

Give the AI cars a little head start before you begin. Look for bumps. Even the slightest elevation counts for Air. Hit small, destructable items any chance you get. Even a shrub can be enough to save your chain. Don't worry about drifting because with your bad traction you'll get drift points without trying. I posted the video where I got it. I was able to hit 88,000+ about halfway through the race. Good luck!

This is the real easiest way to get this achievement, You don't need any drift skill.

You can unlock it in less than 1 minute,do what i did.
Drive all the way in the opposite direction, passing all the other cars, just make sure to not hit them.

A great place to do this is once you get the Bucket List challenges unlocked go to #6 at the Golf Course. When i did it i drove straight off the start past the driving range part of the course out to the open area in the back near the fence. Just drift around and snake back and forth through the fence and you should get it pretty quickly with minimal risk of losing the combo.

Very simple in the mission where you race off-road simply hit the high jumps, drift easily on the grass, get a few knocks, keep on tap to high speed and easy.

I got over 130'000 simply by racing nothing special, collected it at about 70% of the race

Personally used the runway. Build up speed, drifted back and forth, almost lost it at the 3.3 multiplier, but on runway was able to J-Turn, keep drifting, and stopped when I was at the 5x multiplier and clearly over 10k, could have gotten a LOT more

Another great place to rack up the points is around where the Bucket List car is indicated on this screenshot:

It's a plaza just off the road where no other cars will get in your way. It is also full of lots of tables, chairs, and other smashables that quickly build your multiplier. Just keep doing burnouts and drifts in this area for a short stretch and the points will be yours in no time.

Here's my video guide for this achievement. Just head over to the airfield, select manual transmission unless you already have and then weave left and right down the runway in second gear to perform numerous drifts.

Super easy, got it first try but may be a little tricky. Go to the runway, start all the way back to so you can have maximum distance. Do little drifts down the entire run way and you'll get more than enough for the achievement. You wanna get to a 10,000 skill chain because it multiplies by 5 which gives you an end result of 50,000.
