You will start seeing drivatars in the game that are yellow dots on the map with the letters "CR". Drive up to them, and press the indicated button (X or double square "back" button depending if you are using auto/manual) to start up a race. Beat three of these drivatars with bounties for the achievement (and get nice credit payouts too).

So I seen alot of these guys will CR n the map, how do I know they got bounties, I raced one and beat him but don't know if he actually counted. Do all CR guys count.

Yes, all CR ones are bounties. The first two should up easy for me, the third took a while to show up.

Its worth noting that they wont show up if you are driving a X class car, and possibly S class as well. I spent hours waiting for them to spawn using those two classes. As soon as I changed to A class, they spawned with in a few minutes on all 3 occasions.

I only use S or X, and they showed up for me with them. Its random as far as I can tell.

From what I know, the drivatars with a bounty on them tend to be driving a higher class car than what you're driving, so it probably would help to use an A class car or below to get them to appear.

I switched from a S class to A class and one popped up immediately, though looking for 2 others didn't go so well, I drove all around for a half hour and not a single one

I can confirm that A class spawns the car with money sight right away.
Can't believe i still didn't have this easy achievement.

Note: Some Drivatars "cheats" and take the shortest route even off-road.

Did 3 head to heads and won, no achievement. You need to buy the Bounty perk for 3 points, this adds the bounty bonus to head to heads, now it is tracking the achievement properly

Only got them to spawn while driving a B-class car. I'm playing with unbeatable AI, and they always spawned in low S1 cars, so my guess is that each AI difficulty setting sets a PI delta between your car and the bounty drivatar car.

For reference, the ones I got:
- (don't remember it was a while back)
- S1 801 Alfa 8C, while driving a B 699 Corsa
- S1 819 Ford RS200, while driving a B 699 Focus RS MkI

Delta time between the two spawns was something like 4 championships without fast traveling.

Is there a significance between finding them on a road trip? or must you be in free roam waiting to start a new one?

Also want to note that you should aim to do these at a low level; I'm having a hell of a time finding my last one after reaching the gold wristband (level 150+) while my second account (level 29) is seeing them everywhere. I thought it might be a class thing, but both profiles are currently driving around in an S1 car which leads me to believe it's a level thing

Every so often while driving in free roam you will be told a top levelled driver is near by and can be raced for bonus credits. At this point a yellow ‘target’ like icon will appear on your map. All you need to do is drive up behind the bounty car and challenge them to a head to head race. These races can be tricky and often the route displayed on your GPS isn’t the shortest route you can take or the route the bounty car will take. Once you have spent some time playing you will learn of shortcuts and open fields you can cut across as this is often the best way to beat the bounty car.

Usually you can almost travel in a straight line from where you are to where the race ends and this will net you the win. In most cases having a faster car or at least a car closer to the class of the bounty car will make it easier as well. Once you have beaten three bounty cars the achievement will unlock.
