How to unlock the All Your Race Are Belong To Us 2.0 achievement in Forza Horizon 2 - Definitive Guide

Time Driven in game: 71 h 13:50

The above solution in terms of the numbers of races and championships are correct. 3 championships per road trip and you have to travel back to the festival every 3 championships, and you cannot fast travel to each location. The time to get the achievement is also correct as well. There's not much to this achievement except a lot of time. Difficulty is tailor made to what ever you like.

All you need to do is COMPLETE them, not win them all.

Tips:
1) Do the game and beat the finale. After this I suggest going around, look up a map of all the collectibles and smash all the XP and travel boards. Doing so will make the cost for travel 0, significantly cutting down time in the end.

2) There are a total of 6 locations (28 championships per location= 168 championships to compete in total). I suggest splitting the work and travel load into 3 sections. Choose two locations that are close by and keep doing them... Just back and forth for the 56 (28 x 2) championships. by doing this, you cut down on travel distance between each championship.

3) Have something to do in the background if you are seriously dedicated. After about 30-50 of these things... it really starts to drive you nuts. Netflix, YT, music, etc. 5-10 championships a day keeps you from going insane.

**Overall this is merely tips, as there really isn't much strategy that goes into this achievement. Don't worry too much about the gold wristband achievement as well. You will get that progressing through this achievement. I got to level 257 (gold wristband is unlocked at 150) overall. You can make this as easy, or as hard as you want. Best of luck to those who go for this and achieve it.

Edit: 11/2/14 You have to do one more Horizon Finale (Horizon Finale Part II) this occurs after I believe 15 championships. You have to do the finale over again, but against Ben. After that, there is no more finales. Just an endless amount of championships and road trips. I repeat NO MORE FINALES after PART II.

I just got this achievement recently and wanted to add a couple of time saving points.

First off DON'T drive in random championships, what I mean is pick championships on a direct route, for instance I did a Nice championship then went to Sisteron, then Saint-Martin, then you have to drive back to the festival. From there I went to Castelletto, Montellino then San Giovanni, once it tries to send you back to the festival from San Giovanni DON'T follow the marker, instead turn right and follow the road past the round-a-bout it will save you a lot of time. Just rinse and repeat from then on.

Make sure you select the championship with the slowest cars first, you don't want to leave them till last because they will drag on. Make sure to upgrade at least 1 car in each category to make things a little quicker also.

Lastly never pick from the 3 different category's the game gives you because you can sometimes do a championship you have already, I ended up doing 169 before I got the achievement, go to the select championship screen and see what you have and haven't done, and choose from there.

Hopefully this will save someone a couple of hours of game time smile

Yeah another thing I did was upgrade one car in every championship to it's highest mark. This allowed it to go a little faster.

Great input on the routes. This would have been much less annoying if the devs allowed us to fast travel from destination to destination; skipping the road trips.

should mention that you have to do the finale again after winning the next 15 championships. I am unsure if you have to do this for every 15 because i have not got that far. Can anyone confirm?

You're right you have to do the finale ONE last time. It's the Finale Part II against Ben (the main narrator)

After that it's just endless races, and road trips, no more finales.

Yeah, that's why I always just isolated two areas and went back to back and evened them out if one was above the other. You can't go to one area and then stay in that same area to do a consecutive championship.

0
By SliferCynDelta on 28 Nov 2014 04:33
So yes, you would have to go to another championship and then travel back to nice as the game won't let you do the same one consecutively.

That fact that you have to drive to the Festival party for no apparent reason every 3 championships is fucking retarded.

Aside from that, great game & thx for the info

hab 23 championships won before storm island. 30 won after i finished storm island and made all 30 championships there. so i advise to do storm island as soon as you can, i think as soon as you arrive in Nice the first time, since finishing that will save you about 20 championships till the end

Since i am 1 away from it, screw this one, this takes way too long at all.
"5-10 championships a day keeps you from going insane. " ... good point.
Did 10 yesterday, and i was really exhausted, had no fun at all with number 10, was more pain than anything other. i would say 5 pre day are more than enough, since you always drive the same routes just with other cars. Happy grinding for all the one going for it.

How are the championships counted?
I've completed the first 15 of them, but it shows me 30% on the achievement counter for 100, and 17% of 168.

When i go to the statistics, it shows me "Completed Championships : 19" and "Championships: 15". I don't know why is it showing me 30.

I thought about adding the Storm Island Championships as well, but Storm Island got 6 Tiers with 4 Championsships each and a final race. Adding those would make over 30.

How is this calculated?

How are the championships counted?

Apparently the storm island championships are shown if it's a larger figure, but it won't count, for 168 you'll need all from mainland.
( Storm island might count for type of car, I wan that today without doing 'offroad' in the main game)

I have different issue - I see only 28% on counter of 100 and in fact 29 championships are finished...
So seems that one championship is missing.
How can I repair that?

I came back to this game on the Xbox Series X. The quick loading times make this grind 100 times more tolerable!

On Xbox One I would get tired or bored after only one or two championships because there was so much waiting during loading screens. Now I can bang out 4-6 before I start to get bored! It makes it way easier to stay focused.

im 100 championships in and im just wondering what happens if you are left with 1 area to go. Lets say I have 5 championships left in Nice. Will I have to do one championship in Nice, then travel to another location and do another championship that I have already done before I can travel back to Nice.

As someone who just finished his 80th championship today.....this achievement is no joke. Do what others have been saying and do NOT listen to the in-game radio. Hell, I'd suggest just not having any audio on the tv. Podcasts/your own music for sure. This is gonna be a long one.

Just finished this game today after starting it on December 2nd of 2015.

Do. Not. Listen. To. The. Radio.

Better yet, just keep the entire game muted. I was only able to finish this because I was listening to podcasts. You want to find yourself focused more on the podcast/show/video/whatever you choose instead of the race. The races themselves should, if you're doing it right, feel like they're being driven on autopilot. It'll make this achievement much more bearable to get. Good luck!

This is not difficult, just time-consuming.

Things that will help though are:

Complete the single-player story-line first

The single-player campaign/story has a set of mandatory championships; completing it first will not only get you underway, it'll also ensure you don't complete any championships unnecessarily by making you redo them in the campaign.

Championship order and rotation

Make sure you rotate locations of the championships you do. You must move from one championship location to another, so in order to ensure you don't end up having to redo championships because the one you need is in the same location you were just at, rotating is a must.

To minimise the travel time between championships, and maximise location rotation, I suggest doing them in this order:

1. Castelletto
2. Montellino
3. San Giovanni*

(end of road trip - journey to hub for the "Awards Party")

4. Nice Massena
5. Sisteron
6. San Martin

(end of road trip - journey to hub for the "Awards Party")

Start again at 1 and repeat.

*NOTE: when returning from San Giovanni to the hub for the "Awards Party", the sat nav gives you a crazy 14km route back. Ignore this! Instead, turn right out of the garage, and head towards the roundabout just down the road....once you get there, follow it straight on (continuing in the same direction - south), then follow the road along until you need to take a left to go under the motorway/freeway. Just before this left turn, the sat nav will update to just under 3km! Saves a lot of time over the 168 championships.

Do it in sessions

I suggest doing it in lots of 3...and at least 3 a session. This completes a road trip and doesn't take overly long.

Ignore suggested championships

Be sure to always choose the championship you want to do rather than one from the suggested set. This means you're not going to do a repeat one, and also means you can get a set of championships done at the locations of your choosing.

Kill two birds with one stone

It's a good idea to buy a new car each championship. This means you can do the
Forza Horizon 2Worthy of a SultanThe Worthy of a Sultan achievement in Forza Horizon 2 worth 133 pointsHave 175 Cars in your Garage.
achievement more naturally and have a set of great cars for every occasion. it also adds a bit of variety (you'll have long-since exhausted all the radio stations by the end, and even tried Levante for more than five seconds!).

Do all championships at S2/X class

I've not actually done this myself, but this would make things quicker if you so wish.

Best of luck! It's going to take time, but you'll get there!

Thank you very much! And yes, tell me about it. I kind of wish they'd release more music as part of DLC or something, just so you had something new to at least listen to while you're doing all this...but it all becomes so monotonous as you're driving, listening to the same music over and over...you even listen to music you're not interested in just because it's something fresh!

Great solution! It minimized the travel times between places a lot. Plus doing them in 3 different locations each time (instead of focusing on a pair of location back and forth) helps minimizing the "risk" of having to redo a championship at a latter time.

Plus those 2 tips about not selecting the suggested championships and the route from San Giovanni to the Festival are really helpful.

Hi there, yes, basically doing three championships so you go back to the awards party each time. Just makes it a little bit quicker, and you feel like you've reached a good end point.

It's not vital though, but it helped me get them done!

This is a 75-100 hour achievement, minimum.

There are six locations, each with 28 different championships each. Each championship has 4 races in it (except a single championship which has 3), meaning you need to do 671 races to finish this achievement. On top of this, you'll need to do the roadtrips still, which is another 20-30 minutes per 3 championships you complete. Finally, you need to complete the finale (an endurance race I won't go into to avoid spoilers) twice.

You CAN fast travel to the locations of each race (you can't use fast travel to skip the road trip however). To actually fast travel to the race location, you'll need to get the perk that allows it (it's the bottom left one that costs 5 points). I really recommend you get most or all of the fast travel boards hidden around the map to decrease the cost of fast travel to zero. Using this will drastically speed up the time it takes to finish this achievement.

After you become Horizon Champion through the story, you can choose where the roadtrip will go. This allows you to optimize the completion of all the championships a bit. Make sure you choose to roadtrip to locations next to eachother to cut down on roadtrip time.

Car class DOES NOT matter. It's best to go to the garage and upgrade a car of each type to the highest class you can max it in (S1 for most of the low end cars, higher for better ones).

How to pick the location: I recommend picking two locations near eachother and just alternating them. Once those two locations are totally completed, move on to the next two. That way you get very short roadtrips.

Storm Island does not count! It only counts up to the first 30. If you've completed 30 championships, no Storm Island championship will count. If you've done 12, then you'll get credit starting on your 13th up to the 30th championship. However, once you go back to the main game, the achievement won't increase until you get back to 30 races completed. No real gain, sadly.

Any way you look at it, you're gonna be a master of this game by the time you get this achievement. Good luck!

the having to drive back to the festival and do the long ass 20 min, or about 20 min endurance race every time is very very very lame... no way to just go from championship to championship without being able to skip the boring, stupid and monotonous road trips is really testing my patience... just seems like a dumb mechanic they force you to endure if you try and enjoy the game :/ i want to race in forza, not road trip (it was enjoyable for a while dont get me wrong, but it has really gotten aggro when i just want my racing fix)

No one's unlocked it yet so can't so for certain, but the achievement doesn't say you need to. All you have to do is actually complete it as far as I can tell. I'll update the solution if it turns out to be incorrect.

did you win them all or just complete them all?

That should give us the answer for complete 100, and 168 achievements.

I lost one and for me it has it at 42 championships won, and 43 completed.
Judging by the name of the title it looks like just completing it.

I'm pretty much playing this game now as background noise. I watch YT vids, so I put the difficulty to easy and just complete them as much as possible. I'm trying to do 10 a day, but even that's a lot since you always have the road trip.

Are you sure you have to do the finale every 14 championships? I've only had to do it twice and I've done 60+ championships. After the second race the counter disappeared. May just be a lucky glitch for me.

By Wyyvern on 10 Oct 2014 19:51
The counter to the 'Horizon Finale event' only progresses when you win a championship.
So if you've been losing championships, you won't have the finale endurance event come up.
Correct me if I'm wrong though, haven't tested.
0
0
By angry often on 10 Oct 2014 20:12
I've come 1st in all 70 of them. I've won every single race, since I restart if I don't.

At the festival awards party, when it usually shows the amount of championships you are away from the finale, it says "you are the Horizon champion!".

It must be a glitch. I had the Horizon champion achievement glitch on me as well (it didn't pop after I completed the finale for the first time).

Yeah, there was only a Horizon part 2 for me. Then it's just been an endless loop of races. Every three championships though you have to go back to the Festival.

One of my tips is to pick two locations. Two locations that are close by and just do those until you get 28/28, then pick two more. I completed 2 full locations so far and have around 76 completed. Doing 10 a day is my goal... it drags though. Netflix and other distractions help smile

Congrats to the two tracked gamers that have this cheevo :)
If I get this by next Sunday, I consider that a victory!!

Yes. Once you do your 16th Storm Island the trackers will show you've done 16.

Just found out you can't use the same car over and over again, which does make sense. You have to beat every sub category of car (28 of them) 6 times... Which equates to 168...

I'm glad you don't have to win them all, but this is going to be too much for me. Right now I'm level 104 with 29 championships completed and 29 won...

The thing that makes this even more difficult is that you have to continue driving to new locations (no fast travel). I believe every 3 championships you have to go back to the festival and every 15, or 16 you must complete the finale again. Fast travel does help, but not in all instances.

Achievement isn't hard, but damn is it time consuming. Kudos to those who get this :)

It would be so much easier if you could fast travel to the actual championship instead of going on those dam road trips. Plus i cant take any more of the commentator telling me how i am doing pretty well considering i have won every friggin race.

He a crappy english actor called Sean Maguire for those interested.

One Minor tip. Complete all 28 races in Sisteron as early as possible in the game. The roadtrip to that place takes ages, while all other places can be reached in far less time.

Early in the game you're interested in the XP gain, so doing long roadtrips in which you also can get a lot skillpoints to unlock perks is something you'll probably don't dislike.

After getting the Gold wristband and having unlocked all perks, you want the time spend in roadtrips reduced to a minimum, and driving back and forth to Sisteron (as I'm currently doing at lvl 312, with four places completed), is annoying, to put it politely.

A tip adding to the guides above is to always do the road trip sections in your fastest car (whichever category it may be in), then change your championship once you've arrived at the race hub.

Also remember to get back in your fast car before going back to the festival hub after you've done the round of three championships.

Only drive the slower cars in races!

This will take a long time but is not difficult provided you use the assists/difficulty settings that suit you. As you progress further into the game you will have the option of selecting what event you wish to race and each time you complete an event it will be marked as completed so it will be easy to see what events are yet to be completed. To make this achievement a little quicker try and choose locations for the road trip that are nearby one another so you'll spend less time traveling in road trips. Also smashing all the fast travel reward boards will allow you to fast travel for free to each event.

Try to go through the championships evenly, because... if there is only one location left, then you will have to go through already completed championships, which do not count towards the score
