How to unlock the All Your Race Are Belong To Us 2.0 achievement in Forza Horizon 2 - Definitive Guide
Time Driven in game: 71 h 13:50
The above solution in terms of the numbers of races and championships are correct. 3 championships per road trip and you have to travel back to the festival every 3 championships, and you cannot fast travel to each location. The time to get the achievement is also correct as well. There's not much to this achievement except a lot of time. Difficulty is tailor made to what ever you like.
All you need to do is COMPLETE them, not win them all.
Tips:
1) Do the game and beat the finale. After this I suggest going around, look up a map of all the collectibles and smash all the XP and travel boards. Doing so will make the cost for travel 0, significantly cutting down time in the end.
2) There are a total of 6 locations (28 championships per location= 168 championships to compete in total). I suggest splitting the work and travel load into 3 sections. Choose two locations that are close by and keep doing them... Just back and forth for the 56 (28 x 2) championships. by doing this, you cut down on travel distance between each championship.
3) Have something to do in the background if you are seriously dedicated. After about 30-50 of these things... it really starts to drive you nuts. Netflix, YT, music, etc. 5-10 championships a day keeps you from going insane.
**Overall this is merely tips, as there really isn't much strategy that goes into this achievement. Don't worry too much about the gold wristband achievement as well. You will get that progressing through this achievement. I got to level 257 (gold wristband is unlocked at 150) overall. You can make this as easy, or as hard as you want. Best of luck to those who go for this and achieve it.
Edit: 11/2/14 You have to do one more Horizon Finale (Horizon Finale Part II) this occurs after I believe 15 championships. You have to do the finale over again, but against Ben. After that, there is no more finales. Just an endless amount of championships and road trips. I repeat NO MORE FINALES after PART II.

I just got this achievement recently and wanted to add a couple of time saving points.
First off DON'T drive in random championships, what I mean is pick championships on a direct route, for instance I did a Nice championship then went to Sisteron, then Saint-Martin, then you have to drive back to the festival. From there I went to Castelletto, Montellino then San Giovanni, once it tries to send you back to the festival from San Giovanni DON'T follow the marker, instead turn right and follow the road past the round-a-bout it will save you a lot of time. Just rinse and repeat from then on.
Make sure you select the championship with the slowest cars first, you don't want to leave them till last because they will drag on. Make sure to upgrade at least 1 car in each category to make things a little quicker also.
Lastly never pick from the 3 different category's the game gives you because you can sometimes do a championship you have already, I ended up doing 169 before I got the achievement, go to the select championship screen and see what you have and haven't done, and choose from there.
Hopefully this will save someone a couple of hours of game time

Yeah another thing I did was upgrade one car in every championship to it's highest mark. This allowed it to go a little faster.
Great input on the routes. This would have been much less annoying if the devs allowed us to fast travel from destination to destination; skipping the road trips.

This is not difficult, just time-consuming.
Things that will help though are:
Complete the single-player story-line first
The single-player campaign/story has a set of mandatory championships; completing it first will not only get you underway, it'll also ensure you don't complete any championships unnecessarily by making you redo them in the campaign.
Championship order and rotation
Make sure you rotate locations of the championships you do. You must move from one championship location to another, so in order to ensure you don't end up having to redo championships because the one you need is in the same location you were just at, rotating is a must.
To minimise the travel time between championships, and maximise location rotation, I suggest doing them in this order:
1. Castelletto
2. Montellino
3. San Giovanni*
(end of road trip - journey to hub for the "Awards Party")
4. Nice Massena
5. Sisteron
6. San Martin
(end of road trip - journey to hub for the "Awards Party")
Start again at 1 and repeat.
*NOTE: when returning from San Giovanni to the hub for the "Awards Party", the sat nav gives you a crazy 14km route back. Ignore this! Instead, turn right out of the garage, and head towards the roundabout just down the road....once you get there, follow it straight on (continuing in the same direction - south), then follow the road along until you need to take a left to go under the motorway/freeway. Just before this left turn, the sat nav will update to just under 3km! Saves a lot of time over the 168 championships.
Do it in sessions
I suggest doing it in lots of 3...and at least 3 a session. This completes a road trip and doesn't take overly long.
Ignore suggested championships
Be sure to always choose the championship you want to do rather than one from the suggested set. This means you're not going to do a repeat one, and also means you can get a set of championships done at the locations of your choosing.
Kill two birds with one stone
It's a good idea to buy a new car each championship. This means you can do the achievement more naturally and have a set of great cars for every occasion. it also adds a bit of variety (you'll have long-since exhausted all the radio stations by the end, and even tried Levante for more than five seconds!).
Do all championships at S2/X class
I've not actually done this myself, but this would make things quicker if you so wish.
Best of luck! It's going to take time, but you'll get there!

This is a good solution. Better than mine . Better than the main one too. You probably won't get many + (I'd delete mine to give you one, but it won't let me!), but just know it's very good.

Aw thank you! Nice of you to say :-) but don't worry, as lovely an offer as it is, I wouldn't expect you to delete your solution. But thank you though!
I think the game has been out too long now, so I've probably missed he boat with this solution...but I felt I may as well write it regardless.

This is a 75-100 hour achievement, minimum.
There are six locations, each with 28 different championships each. Each championship has 4 races in it (except a single championship which has 3), meaning you need to do 671 races to finish this achievement. On top of this, you'll need to do the roadtrips still, which is another 20-30 minutes per 3 championships you complete. Finally, you need to complete the finale (an endurance race I won't go into to avoid spoilers) twice.
You CAN fast travel to the locations of each race (you can't use fast travel to skip the road trip however). To actually fast travel to the race location, you'll need to get the perk that allows it (it's the bottom left one that costs 5 points). I really recommend you get most or all of the fast travel boards hidden around the map to decrease the cost of fast travel to zero. Using this will drastically speed up the time it takes to finish this achievement.
After you become Horizon Champion through the story, you can choose where the roadtrip will go. This allows you to optimize the completion of all the championships a bit. Make sure you choose to roadtrip to locations next to eachother to cut down on roadtrip time.
Car class DOES NOT matter. It's best to go to the garage and upgrade a car of each type to the highest class you can max it in (S1 for most of the low end cars, higher for better ones).
How to pick the location: I recommend picking two locations near eachother and just alternating them. Once those two locations are totally completed, move on to the next two. That way you get very short roadtrips.
Storm Island does not count! It only counts up to the first 30. If you've completed 30 championships, no Storm Island championship will count. If you've done 12, then you'll get credit starting on your 13th up to the 30th championship. However, once you go back to the main game, the achievement won't increase until you get back to 30 races completed. No real gain, sadly.
Any way you look at it, you're gonna be a master of this game by the time you get this achievement. Good luck!

Ugh.. I had a feeling this one would be a drag. I kind of hoped after you become champion they would decrease in number of races per championship.

Are these races ridiculously difficult later on?
The guy who has the most completed currently is only at 72/168... not even half.
What's the deal with this? It must be impossible (idk I don't have the game)

A tip adding to the guides above is to always do the road trip sections in your fastest car (whichever category it may be in), then change your championship once you've arrived at the race hub.
Also remember to get back in your fast car before going back to the festival hub after you've done the round of three championships.
Only drive the slower cars in races!

This will take a long time but is not difficult provided you use the assists/difficulty settings that suit you. As you progress further into the game you will have the option of selecting what event you wish to race and each time you complete an event it will be marked as completed so it will be easy to see what events are yet to be completed. To make this achievement a little quicker try and choose locations for the road trip that are nearby one another so you'll spend less time traveling in road trips. Also smashing all the fast travel reward boards will allow you to fast travel for free to each event.

Try to go through the championships evenly, because... if there is only one location left, then you will have to go through already completed championships, which do not count towards the score
