I finally scraped 106kmh. Hope this helps someone who has also had problems.
For #7 Lotus Exige, I did it with all assists off by not following the driving line, but instead using the outside walls on both turns to get me around. Made it through easily at about 75mph. The point is that it's average speed, not fastest through the turns! Hope that helps, those were the hardest ones I think.
Being close several times (104.86 = 4km/h to slow) I turned to simulation stearing and no stability control to keep direction while hugging the rails, and it worked. Note that I did nail the running up curve , hit the first corner at over160 km/h and got traction after that at or above 100 km/h.
The bucket list items are single events in a variety of cars broken up into either a timed event, skill event or speed event. They are also broken up into easy, medium and hard.
The timed events require you to drive to a destination within a time limit, the speed events require you to hit a certain speed through a speed trap or speed zone and the skill events require you to hit a certain skill score or perform a certain number of skill within the time limit. The majority of these won’t prove to be too difficult even if you aren’t the best at racing games and you can still enable as many assists as you like. They can also be attempted as many times as you like.
If you find you are struggling with a certain event, look for an alternate route or area in which to reach the target time/score. Also, regarding the skill point challenges, upgrading your perks related to skills and combos will often help reach the target.
