How to unlock the Storm Island Champion achievement in Forza Horizon 2 - Definitive Guide

In order to win the Storm Island Finale you first need to unlock it which is done by completing 12 Storm Island championships, luckily the Gauntlet events count as 1 championship so you can do 8 normal championships (Most consist of 3 events each) and 4 Gauntlet events which are only one event.

The Storm Island Finale is a 2 lap race around the island that took me roughly 7minutes using the MG Metro R4 to also get Metro Master in Forza Horizon 2.

The race is not hard really, good luck!

i tried it 2 times and won both races and still i didnt got the achievement -.-
Well i try now the 30 Championships.

Yea i am having the same issue i just finished this race and won in first place, and got no achievement angrycn_guide

It's good that you can use any car you want for this race. I'd recommend picking one of the easiest to drive from your garage (one of my favorites is the Audi RS2 Avant) so there's a smaller chance of making a mistake and having to repeat a much longer race.

You must come first to unlock this achievement. I got it with an A class car. Too hard to control the faster cars.

There are a total 30 championships within Storm Island split into six tiers. Each tier includes four standard championships and a gauntlet championship. You must win at least 12 of those 30 championships to unlock the finale. The 12 championships can be a mix of standard championships which include four events and gauntlet championships which includes a single event. Once unlocked, go on to win the Storm Island finale for the achievement.
