There are 30 championships in the Storm Island DLC, the 30 championships are split equally between 6 tiers.
Each tier is made up of 4 regular championships (3-4 events each
except one which has 5) and one Gauntlet event which is one race.
Note: You do not have to win each championship, only complete them. Shouldn't be too hard to win them all though.

I would recommend to use all-wheel-drive vehicles whenever possible for these championships, since they perform much better offroad.

Storm Island Championship wins do not stack with normal Championship wins.
If you have 20 Storm Island wins and 15 normal wins, then your progress will show as 20, not 35 and not 15. So if you don't already have the achievement for 25 wins, you can get it with 25 Storm Island wins. The other achievements will then get stuck at 30, until you get to 31 normal wins.

This also didn't unlock for me at first. I went back to the HUB and started the final Gauntlet (didn't play it, just started it) and it popped up.

Also, does this achievement track for anyone else? I currently have done quite a few championships on Storm Island but have noticed that it is not tracking at all as my progress is still 0%.

People saying this doesn’t count towards “all your race are belong to us 2.0” it really does. My counter before starting storm island was at 2%. I’ve not done any base game championships since I started storm island and now it’s on 12%

I have finished all championships but no achievement... I did the last guntlet again but nothing...
I made the last guntlet before finishing the last championships, but i don't think it's a problem.

I just got this but only when I completed the final Gauntlet.
As is already written, all main game championships are needed anyway. It's possible Storm Island championships count independently but I have completed Storm Island now and my completion for "all your race etc" is 79%. This is because I have done 22 championships at each of the six hubs, making 132 overall; 132/168=0.786, QED.
