How to unlock the Bushcraft achievement in Forza Horizon 3 - Definitive Guide

Easy Achievement to collect just select "The Outback" as your 1st horizon festival venue as you work through the single player career if you choose Surfers Paradise first then simply continue until you get the next chance. Should not be something you can miss.

I have opened this festival and even raced a few of the races on level one and still no achievement pop. Anyone else having this issue or know a fix?

Seems as though this game fails at tracking progress if you have your status offline.

I have never had my status as offline, I got the achievement now for fully upgrading all festival sites, but still not this one. *shrug*, o well.

Similar issue with Forza Horizon 2. There is a way to do it by deleting your save file and then replaying the story until you get the choice to pick a festival. You can easily recover the original cloud save with all of your progress and you have the achievement. Since the choice comes fairly early in the game, it may “waste” a couple of hours to get the achievement.

Outback is a desert zone, you will get it as you progress
