Thanks to someone reminding me about being able to magnify by holding down the home button then pressing the "view" (back) button, I was able to find my last road, if you don't have this one then you'll understand why it's pretty hard to see, as the grey blends with the nearby building.

I spent *HOURS* on Xbox trying to find these roads; it took me less than 10 minutes on my PC. The undiscovered roads stuck out like sore thumbs :)

(If you want to try this method, but your PC can't handle FH3, it might be worth trying this method while streaming from your Xbox.)

Hopefully one or both of these methods is helpful to someone. :)

To the right of the cursor, passed it over several times because at a quick glance the top looks like just an edge to the bottom road which I've cleared.

So, after well over a year stuck at 487/488 - and some half-assed pointless hours searching for the last bastard devil of a road I decided to give it a concerted effort this weekend.

I dug up a bunch of links to threads about missing roads and started with this solution.

I was convinced that either my map was hopelessly glitched or that my color-blindness was going to make it impossible to ever find it - and my hopes that I would just randomly run it across it while racing or free-roaming had faded to obscurity.

About five minutes after beginning my new effort I read the following advice from this solution:

So if you are having trouble like me and haven't tried the "accessibility zoom" function yet, I suggest you give it a whirl.

Thanks to Kevrulezz that was my last road, it's small on the map but visable.
I found my last 8 by removing the icons from the map, some were tiny roads like driveways others just small gaps in bigger roads, all could be seen on the map.

I did what DarkxMaterials over on xbox achievements suggested and that was to turn down the brightness. It was a lot easier for me to spot the tiny bit of white road I missed by doing so.

I found my last road by taking a few photos of the in game map with my DSLR and the putting them on the computer so I could zoom in and carefully scan the map. This made life easier.

I was looking for a small road and it turned out to be a road on the beach that had a gap in the middle. Kept missing it in game because I was looking for a small road. DOH

My last road was the "TRAMLINE SPRINT" race in North Surfers Paradise. The dual road was white so there is no marking for the Tramline section unless you accidentally (or deliberately) drive along the tracks.

While I was concentrating on finding the possible missing orange coloured dirt road or driveway, I missed a big section of paved road (white) which runs along the north-west side of the Maroondah Reservoir. That was my last bit and I searched the map thoroughly at least 3 times! doh!

This thread helped me get the last few I needed. FrankBennedetto contribution about using the Magnifier by holding down the home button until the "shut off" menu appears and then selecting "Magnifier" helped me get the last one specifically. Turns out one of the alleys in the city area down south looked like it was completed, but when using the Magnifier I could see a grey break in the orange which meant it was not fully discovered. Big thumbs up!

I spent ages looking for the last 10 roads,
Someone suggested dimming the brightness on the TV down completely and using that and the magnifer suggestion from above meant I found my last road so quickly. Really helped. Mine was a main road with a tiny bit of grey left merging into the white.

I spent the best part of 3 hours staring at the map, studying it couldnt find the last road... The next day i went on and within about 20 seconds i seen the bit of road staring right at me! Was a bit of the white road

I got 488/488 roads achievement completed by just scanning the most hidden roads. Someone said to adjust the brightness of the TV, which really helped me especially the 'Pink Lake' section of the map. It just hurt my eye staring at the screen that I had to take snapshots for me to share with you guys.

You all are the true champions. I gave up on this achievement after searching on and off for about a week. My final piece was in the industrial complex on the north-east part of the map, just west of the surfer's paradise location. I had all the roads except a SMALL PORTION of one of them. it was partially red, but not fully read.

Hands down one of the most frustrating achievements ever! FINALLY got my 488th after about 9 months of having the game. Im 100% convinced the piece of road I drove over to get the achievement was already coloured in. Because I had done everything to look for a grey bit on the map. Happened so unexpectedly. 💥💥🌟

i was missing 2 roads. Wyvern's 1st picture was a great tip for me. i missed one red road there. sometimes these short red roads look like they are discovered if you pass them while racing down a white road.
finding my last one was pure luck because even on the ingame radar i couldn't see the undiscovered peace. it was near the Byron Bay Horizon Festival. failurewarning posted a sreenshot and mentioned the loop there. at this loop there's also a dead end with 2 "no entry" shields. you have to drive till the end there. worth checking that spot if you miss one.

Something I noticed when trying to find my last 8 or so, I know I looked at several areas and they appeared marked of, I'd fast travel to one I found and sure enough a spot that was cleared now was showing uncleared like a mile away. Also the game crashed last night after I had gone up and down every road and I would anticipate the hard dashed but a large chunk of a white area that was showing cleared before my console reset now showed gray. Not sure if that helps but maybe closing the game or resetting in some way makes them show up again when they are showing a false clear.

I searched and searched using the magnifier and there was not a single bit of grey in sight.

I had pretty much given up.

However, I started clearing up the pr stunts and randomly after clearing a speed trap I unlocked the last road.

I guess the message is to leave the roads achievement until last in case you have the same luck they I just did.

Like others I had 2 missing roads that took me a while to find, and I don't think any other solution had these.

I stumbled upon them by fluke right near each other. Both were a bit hard to notice when greyed out due to map colour, especially the first one.

I had a weird bug where I was missing 1 road and the only grey I could see where was a road joined onto the motorway (Just south of City Streets Sprint) I drove it a few times and it stayed grey so I presumed it was bugged. Then tried again a couple of days later and it randomly unlocked!

This achievement glitched for me. The stats section says I got 488/488 roads, but the achievement progress is stuck at 99%.

I've also noticed as I take a direct route (through the bush) to a marked place, generally a road I still have to discover, I noticed that I randomly discover roads when I'm no where near any :/ So I'm hoping my last 8 aren't going to be like that...

My last two. I tried getting all the roads early on, and when I didn't, instead of searching haplessly, just kept playing the game hoping I'd accidentally stumble across them. I never did, but within 10 minutes of searching I found both of them, The first one(which was 488 for me) is exactly where my car location is, there's a backroad underneath it:

I had trouble finding the last two until I adjusted the brightness in visual settings to between 0-20. After that, I found them in a matter of minutes. They were the half circle dirt road just west of the lake in kiewa valley, and a section of dirt road directly east of the redstone airport.

I spent 30 mins looking for the tiny bit of white road near the airport. And I found it within 40 seconds once I changed the brightness down to 10. And it really stood out. thank you dude. I agree this should be number 1 solution.

Yep, brilliant, i didn't think of adjusting the in game brightness. I literally was on the screen that my final tiny section of road was, after I put the brightness down to 10 it stood out like the moon in the night. Big up Jeffnar.

Agreed, number one solution for me. Turned the brightness down to 0 and the missing roads lit up like christmas trees. Embarrased to say that 2 of my last 4 missing roads were part of the main white roads!

Ok, so here's my last missing road! It was a pain in the ass finding it, but sitting right in front of your TV sure helps. At least that's how I found my last patch of the road. I also included a pic of the HUD radar, which shows the road a bit different...

This what i had to do find the last couple of roads. I turned all icons off from the map. Zoomed in all the way and sat down two feet away from my tv and slowly scanned the map.

To add to all the helpful tips above (and add insult to injury) I was more like on 487.99/488 roads discovered... I had approaced a stretch of dirt road from the west, and later from the east, but never fully (apparently) driven the full lenght of the road. This made the road have a minor, small, miniscule gap between the red dotted "drive lines" in the road. It was so small, it took me hours to find.

I streamed FH3 to a Windows 10 PC, put the brightness to 5 in the game video settings, sat close to the screen and removed all the activity icons on the map (LB for filter).

Rly couldn find just one road beeing sure i checked all the dotted ones, set the brightness to max in game settings, still no find and then just put my tv in black and white and saw a little section of white road in grey, pitty i didnt screen it before i checked my fortune.

Found my last, in Spilner's pic, to the upper right of that road is two roads that seem to loop to each other (directly right to the boat showcase if you have it). I drove over to that PR event to reveal it and in the process got a road, so be sure to drive towards those roads through the marsh. Happy hunting, all!

After reading all the guides and spending over a week scrutinising the map and visiting what I thought was every bit of road again I came across the last bit today by chance. It was the end of a driveway on a house close to the Outback festival and showed up clearly grey on the mini map. So don’t lose hope, they are all there somewhere 👍

First, I thought this achievement was buggy but a lot of people had this. I ran through A L L of the pictures posted and A L L of the orange roads in the game and still had 486/488. I tried to brighten the gamma, etc. and still NOTHING. And then I got gamma as low as it gets and...

I found WHITE road that I missed. So the thing you are looking for if you are in the same situation as me is THE WHITE ROAD, not the orange one.

You are probably looking for an intersection, usually tight or small one that looks like completed but it is not. Search between short streets that has a lot of intersections. Darken your gamma and you will find the one you were missing in no time.

Finally I've got the achievement. All roads were shown as discovered, but the achievement didn't pop.
My "final stretch" of the road was entering the sattelite dish area in northern section where danger sign jump is located.
Hope that I've helped someone.

For every road you drive, at the bottom of the screen it will show you how many roads you discovered. There are 488 roads to find and some are quite hidden in the world. The tricky ones are dotted on your map, like those leading up to small farms or remote dirt roads.
