Each race has 3 stars. The first star is unlocked by completing the race. The second star is unlocked by winning the race. The third star is unlocked by completing the challenge stated once you open the event. For example, the challenge for "Epic Stunt Sprint" is "Earn 10,000 skills points."
To get 3 stars, you need to win the race and complete the challenge in the same race.

When you have completed the short intro and you are at the Autoshow there will be a race right next to you (Epic stunt sprint). This is easy to get three medals on especially if you’re playing on easy difficulty. To earn the three medals, you need to finish the race, win the race and earn 10,000 skill points. It must be done all in one run.
