How to unlock the Light The Tires achievement in Forza Horizon 3 - Definitive Guide

The vehicle itself costs 50,000 credits from the store if you are account sharing, but otherwise is free. Upgrade to S1 if you so please.

To make this easier on you turn on Traction and Stability control (if you had been drifting beforehand like I was), and change drivatar difficulty to 'New Racer'.

The shortest Street Race is 'Town Tear Up,' in the upper middle of the Byron Bay town, the Southern part of the main map. The race itself takes a little over 2 minutes to complete.

Wait... I didn't have to buy the $7 DLC? I could have used my massive, useless, FH3 bank account?

Actually, I forgot that if you are account sharing (FH3 was bought on another account on my Xbox One but of course all gamertags on the system can access it) it does charge you in game for the vehicles as opposed to just getting them for free. You still have to pay to download the DLC regardless. I am going to edit the solution as such to reflect that.

Do you have to do this in a single player street race? Or can you get it an online adventure?

I only tried it in single player, I never tested if it would pop in an online adventure.

Make sure you are doing the street races. I made a video of it when I popped the achievement and can put up a video of it in a little while if you are still having issues with getting it to pop. Just to show the car and race I used to get it.

Pretty simple, just start a Street Race (I chose the short Byron Town Throwdown at Byron Bay) and win it in the Hoonigan Chevy Napalm Nova. Achievement unlocked. wink

Do you have to win?

Don't know for sure. As I am grinding through all championships, I put the drivatar level to ultra low (amateur?), so I win in every race without even paying attention. If anyone knows, could he/she reply for clarification?

The 1972 Hoonigan Chevrolet “Napalm Nova” is a free car and can be found in the garage under Hoonigan. Now you have your car you want to pick a Street Race. If you press your button you can filter the map with and select street races. A good Street Race to do is 'Town Tear Up,' which is near the beach of the Byron Bay town. The race will take just over 2 minutes to complete and is a point to point. You can pick any street race it does not have to be this one. To make it even more easy you can upgrade your car and change Drivatar difficulty to 'New Racer'.

The achievement may not unlock immediately.
That is, if after winning the STREET RACE race (any blue diamond with two white arrows) in a HOONIGAN CHEVROLET “NAPALM NOVA” 1972, the achievement is not unlocked, then...

Press the round illuminated button with the Xbox symbol on your controller.
Go to the Game Activity - Achievements tab.
Find this achievement Burn Rubber , and select it with the A button,
Select Go to the official club by pressing button A.
After which the achievement should be unlocked (this is exactly what happened to me).
