You can go for this achievement by playing public games in online adventure or freeroam. An event is a race or a competitive game and you get progress towards the achievement when it finishes.

If you want this fast, it can be easily boosted by getting one other player, starting a private freeroam and playing a game of Infected. Timber Mill small is the smallest map so it won't take long for the infected car to catch the non infected one. Repeat this as many times as you need. It took me 45 minutes for all 25 games.

You're right, I'm not sure why the negatives are there plus no comments were left so I can't improve the solution. Quite annoying but there's nothing I can do about it.

And thanks, it's the baby dragon prop from A World Of Keflings. The world needs more baby dragons.

Drag races don't count towards this acievement - certainly not the showdowns accessed from the car meet

Actually it does count if you do drag races (I've done it in freeroam) and the fastest way to complete.

Drag races in freeroam are good. Can also mix with Life's a Drag for completing a drag race with each car class.

Easiest way is to join Online Freeroam, head to the airstrip and do the Drag Strip sprint race 25 times. Note that the car meet drag races don't count, just the sprint race version.

Just wanted to note somewhere that DLC events will not count towards this. These are only earned in the base game.

Freeroam - airport drag event - start.
Takes up to a minute (the race itself 30 seconds).
Repeat it 25 times and you're done 👍

You can also unlock another achievement simultaneously as you race in that airport drag event in every class of car (D, C, B, A, S2, S1, X).
You can do it as you blueprint that event and make sure it's set on every car eligible with no specific class.

From the Pause Menu, choose Online Adventure and just compete in the events given. You do not need to win it, just play along. Between voting (which car-class and what kind of races), there are four events to participate in. Progress towards the achievement registers after each event when all players are returned to the road. You can start/stop any time playing online if you want to, but if you're committed, it only takes 2.5 hours of online playing to complete the required number of events.
