How to unlock the Slip Sliding achievement in Forza Horizon 3 - Definitive Guide
Get the upgrade called "DRIFT" from EazY x TobE and go to West Bank Drift Zone - far left on the map near to Festival. The 3 star limit is 40.000, so you can reach 35.000 in no time. I got it mine on the second attempt.

Car: 1985 Lancia Delta S4 Group B
Tune Recommended: "S1 900 Grip" by "Raceboy77"
Drift Zone: Snow Highland Drift Zone
Recommended Setting: Stability Control - OFF
Next, position yourself to get a good run-in to the drift zone and going downhill, pulling one big drift at the top and a big drift at the bottom. I was able to consistently get 45,000+ points for the 35,000 point requirement. The key to getting a lot of points in a drift is maintaining a very high speed and a high drift angle. You want to make sure that you don't lose to much of your speed in the first part of the zone.
For the mechanics of drifting, you want to approach with a wide angle and use your emergency brake while going into the turn. Then let go of the e-brake after losing traction and countersteer through the turn to keep your drift angle and in order to not spin out.

Maka what car/set up do you recommend for the rest of the drift zones? Also any tips for a good car for speed zones? Thanks

@OZRIC DUB, check the leaderboards. Think I used this car for most of them.
