How to unlock the Treasure Hunter achievement in Forza Horizon 3 - Definitive Guide

Here is the treasure map for this DLC. Hope it helps :)
EDIT: Added 3 vids for confusing/hard boards
EDIT: There is one board underneath the byron bay icon
EDIT: Multiple people in comments have had boards not count if that happends quit the game and relaunch it and you should be able to smash it again
EDIT: Glitch might be caused if you have a skill chain while hitting a board

I guess most of us drive that Byron Bay boardwalk down in the middle and trash all those benches. By doing so it is very likely that it ist not actually your car that hits the board but the debris of the last bench. I've seen something similar in the main game when another car hit a board and it did not count towards my completion.
Traveling to another map or restarting the game restores the board and you are good to go.

have the same issue with the Byron Bay Bonus Board, I think it sometimes glitches if you have a skill chain, So I just swapped my car, drove super slow into it and it unlocked

Cerberus276 is right. The glitch comes from having a skill chain. Good call on that. And nice solution AliceFairy as well.

Ugh, the game says I have 25/25... I hit all 25... yet achievement tracker says I need one more... any ideas?

Definitely correct on the Byron bay one glitching if you have a skill chain. Just did as suggested and exited and restarted, and this time avoided the benches on the pier. The board had reappeared and smashing it instantly unlocked the achievement as it was the last one I needed.

24/25. Hit it with a skill chain and it never registered but it wont reappear. Have quit and relaunched multiple times and it still has yet to show back up. It shows grey on the map indicating i took it out but still nothing.

Thx for DropDeadArtemus. I have the same glitch. Smached Bayron Bay icon ant it still yellow on the map. After restarting not the game but xbox that was fixed.

Image #2 above has Bryon Bay covering one of the signs. Was tearing my hair out trying to figure out what I was doing wrong. Turns out it was your picture. Thumbs down.

For those with stuck at 96%...I had a glitched board because I hit a rock jnto the board under the dino. I then finally got it to count based on the suggestions here, but I was making zero progress in ANY achievements then.
I quit the game and went through Settings to restart the Xbox. After THAT, didn't even have to boot the game, got the achievement as soon as my profile loaded.

Unfortunately, the one underneath the Byron Bay icon has glitched for me. I had 24/25. I went there, smashed the board, it didn't register. Now, it still shows the yellow XP icon on the map, but the board is smashed, and I'm still at 24/25.

*EDIT*-If anyone else experiences this, just quit the game and relaunch it. This helped me smash that last billboard for the achievement.

If you already purchased the treasure map, all the boards will show up on the map right away. They are very easy to pick out if all other map features are turned off.

Yeah the first board I tried to smash glitched on me. I quit and relaunched game and same thing happened. This ones gonna be a pain in the ass I can tell already. I'll wait til last on these I guess.

When I follow that link I see the Hot Wheels map off to the right, but I don't see any boards on it. Same for Blizzard Mountain. The main game map does show all the billboards. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks.

The reward boards are the collectables in the game there are 25 boards altogether. There are 24 off road so you will have to do some exploring and there is 1 on track.
