This achievement requires you to complete a 3 lap race on the longest course in the game, "The Goliath," using a Forza Edition car, which you can identify by their Pink, Purple, and Blue gradient border (the name should also contain "Forza Edition"). Forza Edition cars are typically obtained through Wheelspins, which you will earn as you play the game. If you have a lot of credits and have somehow not obtained a Forza Edition car yet, you can try looking on the Auction House for deals. There are also several houses in the game that give you Super Wheelspins when bought, which are far more likely to give you a Forza Edition car than regular Wheelspins.
While any Forza Edition car will work, I'd pick the fastest one you have and fully upgrade it so the race goes faster. For reference, I used a 2010 Pagini Zonda R upgraded with Don Joewon Song's tuning package and each lap took right around 9 minutes.
**Although most unlock this achievement without issues, it appears to be buggy for some. My best guess is that it's some sort of intermittent server/connection issue, since people have reported back that they used the exact same car and settings as I did it still didn't unlock (Thanks to Nollie37 and TEN SQUARE 3 for the info). If you've followed the instructions exactly and it didn't unlock for you, I would recommend trying a force a restart of the game and maybe waiting a little before trying again. So far everyone who reported it as not working was eventually able to unlock it.**
Getting The Goliath course
Blueprints
There are two ways to complete a 3-lap Goliath race. The easiest way by far is to use a community created blueprint which you can find in the pause menu under Creative Hub -> Blueprint Events (Big thanks to SWYD1 for pointing this out). Make sure that the race is at least 3 laps.
If you're having trouble finding a blueprint and no one you know can make one for you, you can use one that I've created. The instructions on how to do this are below.
1) Go to Creative Hub->Blueprint Events (The big blue box in the top center)
2) Hit the "View" button (left of the Xbox button) to search, and enter 104585455 under the "Share Code" option. Alternatively you can enter my gamertag "Mitch Connor" under the "Creator" option, but you will need to set the "Route Length" option to "Unlimited" for the race to appear if you do this (thanks to b0seiju for pointing this out). Leave all the other inputs at their default.
3) Select "Reaping The Rewards Short" which is a custom route that is much shorter than the full Goliath course (Thanks to Funky Monkee for confirming this works). It has no checkpoints, so just drive around the starting post.
Note: Playing a Co-op race doesn't seem to work for unlocking this achievement (Thanks Yeast for helping confirm this). The only thing that hasn't been tried yet is playing co-op when all players in the race have unlocked the Goliath themselves, however I doubt this will make a difference so try it at your own risk (if you do try this and can confirm one way or the other, let me know). Doing laps in Rivals also does not count towards this achievement. (Thanks BestAphid68996)
Unlock it yourself
The second way to get the Goliath is by unlocking it for yourself, which is much more time consuming. If you really want to do this, The Goliath unlocks when you reach Level 20 in the Road Racing Series. This will take you far longer than actually racing The Goliath itself. Completing all of the Road Races in the game should get you to around Level 10, and for the rest I recommend repeating long races with upgraded cars and Influence bonus masteries.

By Supastar1980 on 08 Oct 2018 20:45
Thanks Mitch, great solution. I didn't know how to unlock Goliath until I found it here.
Before getting to level 20 in Road Racing, I did try doing 3 laps of Goliath in a FE car in Rivals, but that didn't work for me.
By BestAphid68996 on 30 Sep 2018 20:18
If u do colossus with club member and on coop u get around 18k influence.
Club gives extra 1100 team gives 2050 = 3150 extra just playing coop
By Sighris on 30 Sep 2018 20:46
Thanks guys, I'll add both pieces of info.
By Mitch Connor on 30 Sep 2018 21:06
I assume doing one-lap circuit races is less productive than the default number of laps?
By Groudon199 on 01 Oct 2018 14:37
@Dylan XBA - Good idea. I tried this with a friend who hadn't unlocked The Goliath themselves in a convoy only Co-op race and it didn't unlock for him. He did cross the finish line before time expired, so it looks like the answer is no unfortunately.
By Mitch Connor on 02 Oct 2018 01:01
Does that actually unlock the achievement though? That's definitely easier if it works, but someone would need to try it and confirm since I already have it. If you get it to unlock that way let me know, otherwise I'll try and get my friend to try it tomorrow.
By Mitch Connor on 02 Oct 2018 03:41
Damn, nice. I'll update it, thanks.
By Mitch Connor on 02 Oct 2018 04:07
When attempting to follow Mitch Connor from the the photo gallery, I do as the solution says, but then when highlighting 'followed players' it states that I'm not following anybody. I've tried numerous times, so it may be a server issue.
By Kongo Dragon on 02 Oct 2018 14:48
@Kongo Dragon - I noticed that also when I tried the same thing with a different player since I couldn't follow myself. The blueprints still appeared under the Friends and Followed tab though. Are they not showing for you? I'm seeing that there are 2 likes on the blueprint, so at least some people have found it.
By Mitch Connor on 02 Oct 2018 15:09
i did the boring but ok way gets bit of money as well The Colossus is best way i have the alfa romeo FE car which is a influence boost gets a extra 1,942 after every race i did it on expert and am a VIP so was getting 47,711 money each race.
got the fan favourite skill on car gives extra 200% influence on skills for 10 races so with all that i was getting 17,513 or bit less depending on how many skills boost i got. or you can do it a stressful way and do it online adventure as they are a lot of street race one but onlie was just annoying so best bet is the colossus.
By thug spencer on 04 Oct 2018 02:04
@thug spencer - Yep, I had a whole section with tips on getting Influence previously when I thought hitting level 20 was the only way, and I basically said did the same thing on running the Colossus with a car that had upgraded masteries that gave influence (I used the Agera myself). I decided to remove that since it added a lot of space and was no longer the fastest way anyway.
By Mitch Connor on 04 Oct 2018 02:16
I have it unlocked and did it with someone who did NOT have it unlocked and i did NOT receive the achievement for this.. So if you do it co-op i guess you both have to have it unlocked
By Kaeelin on 04 Oct 2018 22:31
Thank you for your effort, my friend. I unlocked it like I was on vacation :)
By caiosantiago on 09 Oct 2018 12:51
I just tried this using the blueprinted event and the achievement didnt unlock for me. Guess ill have to grind out level 20
By Pris on 05 Oct 2018 01:19
So its not possible to get in co-op if so why can't the scumbags at turn 10 put that in the achievement description
By Goggs25 on 05 Oct 2018 12:04
There's no need to follow you, if you are selecting your photo and hit X, you can select "view creative hub" and select the blueprint from there.
By GrawlNL on 05 Oct 2018 12:15
Thanks for adding that race. Really appreciate it
By ParadoxReal8 on 05 Oct 2018 16:14
@Mitch Connor Yeah I tried it with 2 different Forza Edition cars in solo but nothing. I wont mind grinding out Level 20 on racing as I need 10 million for a castle anyway.
By Pris on 05 Oct 2018 22:29

By zDrUnKeNMoNkEyz on 06 Oct 2018 06:36
The blueprint method did not work for me either.
EDIT: But then I did exactly what the solution said and it popped.
By Nollie37 on 06 Oct 2018 18:11
@Nollie37 - Awesome! Do you mind if I ask what it was you did wrong so I can make it clearer for others?
By Mitch Connor on 06 Oct 2018 18:16
♤ i already got it, but to add to what people are reporting. I did everything, except prior to selecting blueprint i "favorited" it. Upon selecting and starting, screen froze and crashed. Rebooted game, once back in free roam went to hub and my favorites. Selected mitch's blueprint. Ran the 3 laps and cheevo popped. So guide def. Works word for word Only thing im noticing is for some it crashes when selecting, so..
TL DR: FIND MITCH CONNOR BLUEPRINT.
FAVORITE BLUEPRINT.
GO BACK TO FREE ROAM.
SELECT BLUEPRINT FROM FAVORITES IN CREATIVE HUB.
RACE IT.
POP CHEEVO! 😁
By zDrUnKeNMoNkEyz on 06 Oct 2018 20:07
@Wyyvern & @zDrUnKeNMoNkEyz - Thanks for confirming that for me. I've altered the solution to call this out.
By Mitch Connor on 06 Oct 2018 20:28
It seems that this achievement is buggy. I reached lvl 20 and unlocked the goliath. Then i made to a 8 lap race blueprint and took my aston martin vulcan fe. I didnt got the achievement. After driving a 3 lap race with the zonda fe it popped up for me.
By EchelonSix on 08 Oct 2018 09:48
This worked well-ish for me.
Trying to load the blue print directly from your share crashed my game over and over.
I favourited it; loaded up.
Ran in the Bently Speed (S Class) and managed laps of around 10 mins
So after 30 minutes i have the cheevo
Cheers :D
By Pinrip on 08 Oct 2018 12:49
I chose a 3 laps blueprint directly from the event. popular, top of the day. Achievement unlocked.
By StarshadeFPS on 08 Oct 2018 13:31
This won’t unlock for me, I’ve ran it 4 times now. I’ve got it unlocked, and used my own blueprint in solo mode each time, and used the zonda FE, and nothing, anyone have any ideas?
By TEN SQUARE 3 on 10 Oct 2018 02:52
Just ran it again with some else’s blueprint 3 laps and used the TVR sagaris FE, and it popped this time
By TEN SQUARE 3 on 10 Oct 2018 03:49
@Nollie37 - Thanks for coming back and doing that! Between what you and others have said it seems like the achievement is just buggy.
@TEN SQUARE 3 - Interesting... My last guess was that certain cars didn't work for some reason, but I unlocked it using the Zonda FE, so I guess not. Glad you managed to unlock it, and thanks for the info.
By Mitch Connor on 10 Oct 2018 04:02
so i did a 4 lap goliath race with the alfa romeo giulia FE car and got no achievement bummer :(
By AFP Panda YT on 10 Oct 2018 17:31
Worked like a charm for me. Used an Alfa 8c with credit boost as I'm saving for a castle. It gives me 277k when I win with average drivatars. Played it 3 times now. Achievement unlocked first time.
By Jobbenar on 11 Oct 2018 11:57
"Hit the "View" button (left of the Xbox button) to search, and enter my gamertag under the "Creator" option"
I put in Mitch Conner and nothing shows up.
By DarqStalker on 14 Oct 2018 01:13
Thank you for posting the blue print solution to this achievement.
Worked great and spared me from grinding to level 20 first.
By perceptron3000 on 14 Oct 2018 15:31
I couldn’t find Mitch Conner either so I just searched for maka91 and used his “achievement” blueprinte.
Did the 3 laps and got it.

@DarqStalker & @confusedgeek - You're spelling it wrong guys
By Mitch Connor on 14 Oct 2018 21:37
Connor. Connor! Worked great for me with the 1980 Renault 5 Turbo!
By martindahle on 15 Oct 2018 07:28
Hmm... I used a Nissan LM FE, 5 laps Goliath, got my reward but no achievement..
By Rotcat on 15 Oct 2018 19:10
i followed the method of mitch and used the 2016 aston martin VULCAN FORZA EDITION in s2 and the success was unlocked directly at the end of the rewards and the level 20 in street racing is not mandatory
By vinzladouille on 16 Oct 2018 01:52

Thanks for posting. Maybe rather than this being glitched people are just stupid like me? I interpreted the / in "Pink/Purple/Blue" as "or" which is a common meaning of the sign and did the race in a Purple gradient car (Legendary, I think). If possible maybe add "and the text "Forza Edition" in the car name" to the description.

@mitch connor Thinking this might be bugged to only work on 3 lap races, just based on the above comments. I did it on your blueprint, with the Zonda FE. Popped first time. Have noticed a few people above saying they did a 4 or 5 lap race and it didn't pop. Can't say for sure that's what it is though. Thanks for the guide, wondered why I couldn't see the route!
By TactiCraig on 20 Oct 2018 18:09
did a 4 lap race b4 did 3 lap now no achievement :/
in Zonda R FE
By 愛野 美奈子 on 20 Oct 2018 18:17

My game crashes every time I try to use this blueprint.
By Vonnalushi on 23 Oct 2018 00:54
^ From the solution -
There is currently a bug that can sometimes crash your game if you do not favorite the blueprint and access it from your favorites list and instead try and play it directly from the Creative Hub. Make sure to follow the instructions exactly. (Thanks to Wyyvern & zDrUnKeNMoNkEyz for helping confirm the workaround).
By Wyyvern on 23 Oct 2018 10:47
Still crashes, it actually crashes in a lot of scenarios and the sound is constantly messed up.

This worked for me.
I came last, but it unlocked pretty immediately.
It took me a while to actually work out how to find the damn blueprint though - it's far too difficult without a guide!
By ExactBananas on 05 Nov 2018 09:01
7 downvotes? For saving people hours of their precious achievement hunting time?
By TheGreatKoala on 05 Nov 2018 13:53
Worked for me by accessing a blueprint but without all the complicated steps. Just searched the latest/top blueprints in the creative hub and started the race from there. Didn't have to add it to my favourites or anything, though maybe I was lucky. Either way, it worked.

By penguinsplay12 on 08 Feb 2019 06:54
@Mitch Connor. I tried your short track blue print but the race finishes after 2 laps. Am I doing something wrong??
By Beam147 on 10 Feb 2019 00:01
I just noticed at the start of the race it says "lap 2 in 69m" above the start/finish line but the counter in the top left definitely says 1/3
By Beam147 on 10 Feb 2019 00:09
@Beam147 - I've had that happen to me as well when I tested it which is why I was worried it might not work, but Funky Monkee and penguinsplay12 say that it worked for them. Make sure you're using a Forza Edition car, and if so try circling a little wider instead of cutting the last corner short.
By Mitch Connor on 10 Feb 2019 00:19
I wasn't using a Forza Edition car. Race was still only 2 laps.
By Beam147 on 10 Feb 2019 02:10
@Beam147 try to race on the line maybe. I used the renault clio forza edition and because all the drivatars missed the corners I managed to even get a first place. You need to pass beneath the start-finish arc every time.
By penguinsplay12 on 10 Feb 2019 08:28
Can confirm this still works as of March 2019.
Just make sure you go around the start area or it won't count as a lap. Achievement should pop just before you get back to free roam.

By b0seiju on 17 May 2020 17:56

@Groudon199 - TLDR: Yes, one lap races seem to be less efficient.
As a test I tried setting up a 1 lap blueprint on the Horizon Festival Circuit (a very short circuit race right next to the festival site) and was getting 1932 Influence (for placement and skill bonuses) for completing 1 race solo and finishing 1st. Doing a loop of this (including menu & load times) took right around 2 minutes for a points per minute (ppm) of around 1000. The Colossus was netting me around 14535 Influence for finishing first (9712 for placement and 4823 from various skill bonuses which I could achieve rather consistently) and took roughly 7 minutes for a full loop including all menu, load, and fast travel times (even including an unskippable wheelspin that I got after the race) for a ppm of around 2000 (or 1400 if you only include the placement influence which you are guaranteed to get for 1st). Add on top of this the fact that on short races it's much more likely that you're unable to get into 1st in time, and I think the longer races are a better bet. It's definitely possible that there's some optimal middle ground race between these short races and The Colossus that gives the most points, or some cheesy group of settings that get absurd amounts of influence, but I'm not aware of it.

Ok, I'll add that. When I tried it I had already unlocked it and my co-op partner hadn't and he didn't get it. My suspicion is that a co-op race just doesn't work at all.

@Pris - Are you sure that you used a Forza Edition car and that you fully completed the race in solo mode? Did you use my blueprint or a different one that you found?
By Mitch Connor on 05 Oct 2018 01:33
@GrawlNL - Thanks for pointing that out, I altered the solution accordingly.
@ParadoxReal8 - No problem.
@FranconianX - I just tested it with a different blueprint from someone else, and I had the same thing happen to me twice in a row. Try marking it as a favorite with
and then accessing it from Creative Hub->Blueprint Events->My Favorites. That seemed to work for me. Let me know if it works for you also and I'll add it to the solution for others.

@Nollie37 & @Pris & anyone else who the blueprint method hasn't worked for:
I'm going to add a note to the solution that the blueprint method does not work for some. Would you mind answering the following questions so I can try and figure out if there's some commonality between the people who didn't unlock it, or if the achievement is just buggy? Sorry if some of these questions seem pedantic, I'm casting the net a little wide here.
1) What car(s) were you driving when the achievement didn't unlock?
2) What was the drivatar difficulty you were playing on?
3) What place did you finish?
4) Were you using a someone else's blueprint or mine, and if not mine whose?
5) What mode were you playing in (Solo, Co-op, or PvP)?
6) Were you connected to a "Horizon Life" session when you started the race (If it asked you to pick a mode, Solo, Co-op, etc., then you were... if it just started the race then you weren't)?
7) At the time you ran the blueprint, had you finished all of the original 4 seasons and joined the Horizon roster yet (you'll have had the "Welcome to a New Horizon achievement)?
8) What level in the Road Racing series were you at the time of the race?
9) What was your overall player level at the time of the race (top left next to your Gamertag in the pause menu)?
10) Did you lose your internet connection at any time during or immediately after the race?
11) Are there any other achievements in FH4 that haven't unlocked when they were supposed to for you?
12) Is there anything else you think might be relevant?

I found a random blueprint (it was titled "Golit" LOL) and did the race. It took 38 minutes and didn't unlock at the end of the race. I just check today and it shows I unlocked it.

The short version works. If you can't find the blueprint with the creator's name, you should also change the length. By default it is set to something less than 16km which disqualifies the referenced blueprint.

It did not unlocked for me when I used my own blueprint (someone's route or mine), it did unlock when I played someone's blueprint. Just in case someone is having trouble, I thought it was bugged but once I played someone's blueprint it did pop the achievement.

@iJoheidi & @I xDannyW I - It seems that there is a bug viewing creator's blueprints. The good news is the instructions that used to be there were only a workaround for another bug that existed at launch when I wrote this. You can now access route blueprints directly. I've updated the guide, and will shoot you a PM quick.

1) What car(s) were you driving when the achievement didn't unlock?
BMW M5 FE I think
2) What was the drivatar difficulty you were playing on?
Unbeatable
3) What place did you finish?
1st
4) Were you using a someone else's blueprint or mine, and if not mine whose?
Someone elses first, didn't work so I used yours next.
5) What mode were you playing in (Solo, Co-op, or PvP)?
Solo both times.
6) Were you connected to a "Horizon Life" session when you started the race (If it asked you to pick a mode, Solo, Co-op, etc., then you were... if it just started the race then you weren't)?
Dunno
7) At the time you ran the blueprint, had you finished all of the original 4 seasons and joined the Horizon roster yet (you'll have had the "Welcome to a New Horizon achievement)?
Yes
8) What level in the Road Racing series were you at the time of the race?
About 15 I think.
9) What was your overall player level at the time of the race (top left next to your Gamertag in the pause menu)?
150 or so
10) Did you lose your internet connection at any time during or immediately after the race?
No
11) Are there any other achievements in FH4 that haven't unlocked when they were supposed to for you?
No
12) Is there anything else you think might be relevant?
Second time I used a Ford Falcon FE. I finished second I think, or slightly lower.

Thanks @b0seiju & everyone else for pointing out the search change. I've updated the guide to use the easier Share Code feature that didn't exist when I initially created it, but I left in a mention of setting the Route Length in case someone goes the creator name route anyway.
Thanks to everyone else also who has commented when the guide works for them. Another confirmation helps save me a lot of time re-testing the unlock when the occasional person misses part of the instructions and reports that the guide doesn't work.

For those wanting to unlock the Goliath by reaching lvl 20 in Road Racing, you can use my custom Road Race on Unbeatable drivatar difficulty. It's a highway sprint and I've made the drivatars take the exits to slow them down, giving you a stupidly easy win every time. Even better if you use a Forza Edition car with Event Influence bonus.
Share Code: 127 415 844
Blueprint name: Set to Unbeatable, follow highway!
Route Name: EZ CR & XP FARM!

Thanks for this, made such a daunting achievement really easy using the Blueprint way

Every time I select a blueprint from the hub (the one from Mitch) my game freezes, anybody else with the problem?
-
@FranconianX - I just tested it with a different blueprint from someone else, and I had the same thing happen to me twice in a row. Try marking it as a favorite with cn_Y and then accessing it from Creative Hub->Blueprint Events->My Favorites. That seemed to work for me. Let me know if it works for you also and I'll add it to the solution for others.
Same thing happened to me twice, it would crash when selecting your blueprint from the hub. Saving it as a favourite and then going to the blueprints worked.
So me and my brother have just done this (both in solo races mind you) and both unlocked the achievement. He was in the Pagani Zonda Forza Edition and I used the Nissan GTR Forza Edition. Thanks for the blueprint, massive time saver
