Yeah, tried setting it as my 'Home' but no luck. I'm not going to try the offline method, too risky. I'll wait for patch.

I just got this 1 today. What i did was switch cars while sitting in the meadows house. So im not sure it was glitched

Already have the house. Set as home and switched cars inside the house, didn't unlock. Did this a few times, never worked.

It unlocked for me with the offline new game method.

I think the devs patch this achievement, i got the update size 145 MB for the game in a morning , after that i jump in the game and i got the achievement before i press A on the main menu.

If someone still unlock after 145MB update. Outside sunflower house try to change ur car.

Can confirm, after the little update it unlocked. I had to set another house as home and return to sunflower and set again.

Yeah, I can confirm that, after the update, it unlocked for me as well. Didn't happen right away, though. Had it sit for a while on the garage menu (around 10 minutes, I think), but didn't have to set Sunflower Meadows as my home (currently, it's Fairlawn Manor).

Today there was an update, after I visited the house and looked at my own cars, the success was finally popped up. Hope with you too

Can confirm, after the update today, the achievement has unlocked. It isn't immediate. Just set Sunflower Meadows as your main house, then enter the house and wait in the menus for a few minutes. Huge relief it's finally unlocked!

Resolved. For me, I had to set the house as my main house, leave and then re-enter the house and the achievement popped.

It unlocked for me last night. I did the steps outlined by Dokter V but it didn't pop right after the last step. Went into another room to look up more solutions and when I got back, it was unlocked. It's just random, I couldn't explain it.

It unlocked for me. I didn't need to do anything, my game is set to start in Lego DLC, and it unlocked after a few minutes while I was going thru messages and doing my free wheelspins.

Popped for me when I logged in today for the first time since May.

Wasn't popping for me after setting as my home and driving around for about ten minutes. Decided to check messages and popped as soon as I opened messages.

Update has gone live, unlocking all the other achievements in the update fine, but this one not popping, lets hope it just pops naturally tomorrow :)

Entered the game to check if I had the house. I had it. Took a photo of a car to see if the update was live. No achievement. Deleted my local save and entered the game again to download it and be ready for when it releases tomorrow. The achievement for the house unlocked upon loading the save. If you already had the house, try this, delete your local save and enter the game again. It seems to unlock retroactively, but since the update isn't live yet it isn't unlocking when you first enter the game.

I still can't unlock other achievements though, don't know why the hell this made the house cheevo pop, but it did.

I didn't do any methods offline, I booted the game went to Eliminator since I was going for some achievements and it popped mid way through one game.

Was on the XBOX if that matters.

Offline works if you don't want to wait. I got my podium on the completion. Eating dinner first cost me first place.

Going offline, deleting my game save, re-connecting to Xbox Live and loading the game and syncing my cloud save did NOT trigger the achievement for me and I have owned this house since getting the game in September 2018. Hopefully tomorrow it will trigger after it's "official" release.

It's not a delayed unlock, I've owned this house for months its not like I just bought it.

Even though I haven't actually tested it yet (not purchased before, in work) it seems enough of an issue people need help. Recommend people make clear, constructive tickets to Forza as that worked for Antique Restorer back at launch! I've also tweeted at Nitro Glitter who was very helpful when I was chasing a fix for Antique Restorer.

I simply started up the game and got prompted for the update. Much faster than navigating to the "Updates" page in the new guide. You could try restarting your Xbox and then starting up the game again. Hard reset is another option in case the restart option does not work.

People are managing to unlock it despite people claiming even those that never owned it cant get it.

It took 2 excruciating minutes but this unlocked fine. Just as I was about to complain on here about it not unlocking it unlocked. I purchased after the update!

There's definitely something wrong what triggers the achievement. I owned the house and it didn't pop initially. Now I restarted the game and after about 10 minutes when I was setting up a race the achievement popped...

They could of had two ways to pop this, buy the house or visit the house if you've already bought it

I had already bought flower house but I hadn't bought one of the castles. When I bought the castle yesterday this one popped. So I guess I got lucky!

Solution that worked for me ( owned the house before the update): go offline/online while playing and it might unlock

Just in case anyone missed reading it above, but I earned the achievement today and did not own the house before. Won it straightaway. So dont think you need to fear if you didnt own it before.

I'm trying to delete my local save but I have two files (one with my gamertag and one called reserved space, sorry if it's not accurate, I'm french). Which one to delete ? I don't want to make a mistake and erase everything. Thanks !

So guess best way everyone is unlocking this is going offline deleting save and then going back online? Knowing my luck I'd prob delete my file and have to start game all over again which I dont want to do. Lol

Mine just popped playing normally. Last achievement I needed from this bunch. Bought the house before the update so I was stuck like everyone else until 30mins ago. Not sure if the hot patch went live or it glitched it self fixed 👌🏽

It's probably a check that gets triggered every 30 to 60 minutes. I'll leave my game running for a few hours and check back in the morning.

@kinectkid I'll just wait till the patch. I already own house so I'll get it eventually. I'll just work on other achievements still need take the 200 pics. Some on the Lego and eliminator dlcs too. Which are giving me a pain. But hopefully I'll get those.

@SWYD1 I was playing a upgrade story chapter I think the 2 or 3 last one. Literally in the middle of the race it popped. Wasn't doing anything related to the update

Alright, so that theory didn't work.

Just popped for me after I loaded in to this house set as home, drove around a bit, auctioned 3 or 4 cars and pop. I owned before.

Popped when I sat this to my home as well.

Tried waiting after making set home. Waiting 10 minutes nothing. In addition made another house set home and went back to flowers no luck.

Thanks for the info guys. We'll see if Playground Games comes out with a fix within the next couple days (or if a community member finds a workaround). A lot of things around Series 23 have been broken and Playground Games have been posting a lot of updates to the Forza community, so I expect this will come to their attention and they'll patch it. If a fix doesn't come, I'll post a method that I think will probably get this achievement to unlock that involves going offline and deleting your save file.

How is it possible that this is something they haven't tested... Someone must have known that there were players owning this house already...

So it def. works: Go offline. Delete local save and start a new game. First thing I did was go to the location of Sunflower Meadows. It will not be purchasable until you get you first gifted house (30 minutes into campaign). Then progress and earn 200k to purchase the house.
Then quit the game, go online, start the game, sync save with cloud, pop.

I just played offline to progress to the house, takes about an hour. When going back online I did not want to replace my local save with the cloud save (this is the ONLY achievement missing for me). So that did not work. If you do not care of losing all your progress, you could do it on a new save.

Why do they keep doing this retro achievement BS? The game's been out for a year and a half and it was possible to buy this house from launch, surely they could have thought of a different 15 point achievement and just avoided the hassle. Idiots....

@ONE CEL JUGGALO, yes, I'd assume that's how most people are currently earning this achievement. Some people (myself included) have gotten lucky by having it unlock randomly while playing, but I bet most people right now are unlocking it by playing offline.

Right now my recommendation would be to wait for a patch, but if you really want to earn this achievement right now, I'll refer you to Throni's solution. He wrote a perfect explanation of how you can unlock this achievement by deleting your save and playing offline, and I don't want to steal or detract from his solution. Make sure to give it an upvote if it helps you . Just know that there is a risk of user-error which may cause you to lose your save, and as some people have already stated in the comments here, the achievement still might not unlock even if it's your first time purchasing the house.

After the update I started the game and it unlocked after 5 minutes. However, I did some "suggestions" from the comments in the mean time. So, I'm not sure if the achievement was delayed or I triggered it somehow.

Some stats / steps from what I did in the 5 minutes:
- Had all other Update #23 achievements allready
- Been online all the time
- Had all the houses allready prior Update #23
- Sunflower was set as "Home"
- Changed my character appearances at the beginning at the Sunflower house
- Then changed my car outside the Sunflower house
- Then took a picture from the "new" car in front of the Sunflower house
- Then drove around with this car and unlocked the achievement at the frozen lake. So I was not around the Sunflower house anymore.

Didn't work for me. Maybe I should have tried not deleting the offline save, but I didn't want to take any chances losing my online save file...

UPDATE... the achievement just unlocked (around 30 minutes later). Thanks for the offline workaround tip!!

Worked for me, thanks. I chose to fast track to Lego Valley. Don't know if it made it quicker but the whole thing took about 40 mins.

Game Pass.

Took way more than I thought it would take to unlock. I got it. I have used this method before in a few other games and it usually unlocks during the sync as described.

This method works, and you can speed the racing process if you have the Lego DLC, once you finish the normal tutorial the game will ask if you want to fast travel to Lego valley, accept it and then you race the Lego tutorial races, then what I did was to earn the Lego Bugatti, and then I was awarded around 136k in credits plus 4 wheelspins, which got me a nice 100k bonus, then just loaded up mainland, bought the house, saved and quit, erased the local file, went online, synced up and then waited around 5 mins just driving around and it popped.

This is how I did it also, only after buying it offline I simply canceled syncing after going online, achievement popped and then I exited and deleted the local save and restarted to sync my original game. So there are a few ways to do this. Thanks for providing the info! +👍

I had already purchased Sun Flowers meadows like most people have already done and how I got the achievement to pop for me was I went to the house and enter it and set it to my home and exited out and then took a picture of a car that I hadn't took a picture of yet in front of the house and the achievement pop for me not sure if all those steps are needed but its what worked for me.

The offline method is the best that you can have until the patch if he comes work like a charm

Thanks for investigating and offering a work around. For now, though, I'll wait to see if they fix it. If not, will definitely use this. The reason why I'll wait is because I know me and if things can go wrong, they will. And it's usually my stupid fault.

That's why I said delete the local save before going online again. If you keep the save it asks you if you want to overwrite the cloud save and if you press yes then everything is gone. Happened to way too many people in other games in the past. My method is 100% fool proof.

R.I.P. for me guys, I accidentally pressed yes on the overwrite and my +680hrs, 622 cars 127millions credits vanished forever. Probably my greatest LOST game data ever. At least I got this last achievement and 100% on achievements list.

Buy the house. Close the game and delete the save. Go online and start the game. Achievement unlocks and it downloads your cloud save. If you don't delete the offline save then it asks you if you want to overwrite your cloud save - which makes you lose your old save. To avoid that it's better to delete the offline save.

Never going to risk my save. I have put to many hours in that game ^^

^Zero because you delete your save and are never connected to the internet. I say to disconnect first to avoid choosing to delete your save everywhere. I removed every possibility to mess it up. I know that the critical points are deleting save (delete local only instead of everywhere) and saying no to overwriting the cloud save with the new offline one.

Either way works. I unplugged the cable because it's faster for me.

How long did it take to pop? A few minutes or longer?

I have it through game pass. Took me three times before it would start offline.

Worked flawlessly! After the procedure the achievement popped while my profile was still loading (think it was at about 35% at that time).

@ Knight Maximus you can only play Game Pass games (or any other digital games) offline on your home Xbox One.

Achievements earned while offline can take many minutes to unlock once you go online. This is normal.

It unlocked for me with that method while at 32 per cent synchronisation. Thanks so much. Upvoted and ignore the no lifers who downvote lol.

Yup, this also just popped for me. I had owned the house before the title update and tried to get the achievement to pop before now, without any luck.
Booted the game up this morning and it popped randomly after a few minutes of messing about.

Even though it looks like today's update fixed this, I'm giving a thumbs up for taking the time to test this and share it with the community. Besides, the solution may still be useful as a fallback, if the update doesn't work for whatever reason.

On a side note, my guess as to why the solution got so many downvotes is the classic "it's not the way you're supposed to unlock this, so you're basically cheating" non-argument, or that it takes more time to unlock it with this method than people wanted, essentially a "shooting the messenger" situation.

Guys fortunately I get back all the credits and cars thanks to the Forza Support.

Thought the offline method only worked for games you physically owned as I'd never tried it with a game I own digitally. Had to time going offline right with this one (right as the Turn 10 imagery starts as the game is loading) as it kept booting me off the game and saying I had to be online to play. After being booted back to the dashboard mid-race during the Winter introduction, it finally allowed me to continue the following attempt. I played till I had unlocked Autumn and amassed $200,000. The achievement popped immediately upon buying the house this time. I quit out of the game and restarted it. Upon getting back in, I didn't receive the option to choose from the console or cloud save as I had with this offline-style method in the past, however the game simply synchronized my old stats (thankfully) and everything was back to normal upon loading in. Sorry for the lengthy response, hope it helps though

I wanted to point out this all worked on PC.

Unplug your ethernet cable or disconnect from the Wi-Fi.

Go to the settings of the game by right clicking the game's tile and highlight "more" then click "App Settings"

Click "Reset" to delete the local game data. Launch the game, and play through it as described above. When you buy the house close the game again. Now reset the data again.

Relaunch the app and sync the data. Load up into the world and it should pop. It took mine almost 10 minutes, just let it idle.
