If u have the invisible hud, u can still finish drift to fix it. U just can’t see your score until either fail or drift zone done. I had it several times.

This solution omits the fact that the Agera RS requires the Car Pass, which is only included with the Ultimate Edition. If you don't have the Ultimate Edition, the Car Pass must be purchased separately. I have checked the leaderboards and a lot of people are using the McLaren Senna which is included in the base game (no DLC needed).

Am I the only one who constantly has this invisible drift HUD glitch?
It happens anytime I rewind a drift zone to before it starts, and the only way to fix it is to manually fail the zone. This is really annoying..

The invisible HUD glitch occurs if you've just failed or had a completed attempt. It triggers if you don't let it go of screen before starting. As Sighris says, it'll continue anyway. I actually got some 3 stars this way, probably worrying less and trusting my ability more haha!

@Ink Splitter - I think the Formula Drift pack comes free with the version in Game Pass because that's what I'm using and I actually went to buy it but found it was already purchased, just needed the credits in-game to be able to afford them.

For those like me who don't have DLCs so can't using the Koenigsegg Agera RS. I used Porsche 911 GT3 RS PO with the tune created by "mclaren518". Hope this helps.

If anyone is stuck on 98% after doing them all, do a seasonal PR stunt (just 3 stars, no need to do the seasonal objective) and it SHOULD pop. I did the Roman Ruins Autumn specific PR stunt and it popped for me immediately. Seasonals can't count because I haven't done winter or spring (obviously, hasn't occurred yet)

For the drift zones I used the Formula Drift #13 Ford Mustang 2015 to get 3 stars on all of them. I used the tune: EZ AWD DRIFT created by KING POSH (as recommended in the Drift achievement solution by NMANOZ)

But...I left traction control, stability and automatic gears ON and still managed to 3 star all the zones and I'm certainly no expert at drifting.

Another tip is to go to Horizon Solo. The rewind feature often screws up after a few tries when connected to Horizon Life but I never had a single issue with it while playing in Solo

The drifts are stupid. Not sure if its winter but so many times it you are not 100% on the road tracks the score doesnt count. So infuriating. Anyone else get this? I can drift not prob. Got half of them to 3 star. But get such a small number of points if you drift even slightly off the road, even though im well within the flags.

• S-Bends Drift Zone 90,000 points for 3 stars

I am using the Tiptronik Viper, but can't get close to 90,000. Any tips?

I was struggling with a lot of the drift zones until I switched to willy's jeep. Not an obvious choice I know but trust me with the right tune this is an incredible drifting machine. It works well for both on road and off road drift zones too. I used the 'drift zone' tune by tygaxxxx. It's only A class (A743) but it does the job!

One car I'd recommend for everything but drift zones and a select few speed traps is the Porsche 918 Spyder. Fully upgraded it has 9.6 speed and 10 everything else. Great alternative to the Agera if you need a fast car with more handling. But of course wait until any season but winter to give those a go to save yourself a headache. Also be sure to throw on Rally Tires for the offroad speedzones and danger signs as it improves your performance drastically. Also fun fact, spending 21 skill points on this car will net you 200k credits.

Just finished all of my stunts now that its Spring season and gotta say, much much better than trying to do anything in Winter. And my go-to for drifts has got to be that Viper. Once I got down the drifts, they came easy to me and I'm not a very good drifter.

For those that don't have the car pass:

Speed traps and (most) Danger Signs: Bugatti Veyron with Spilner Tune
Speed Zones: McLaren Senna maxed to X class with AWD conversion

I've been getting speed zones done on my first try with the Senna for the road ones, dirt ones I'm yet to find a decent car. The Ariel Nomad seems to be a bit too flimsy for me

Thanks for this, most of the car/tune suggestions were spot on. I was trying to do a lot of the drift zones during winter, and while it's possible for some or even perhaps all, I really wouldn't recommend it. Revisited areas in spring and got them ticked off. After some youtube browsing I used different setups for the following: Mudkickers Showjump - Ford RS200 Evo w/ der kaiptn '900 Handling' tune & S-bends drift zone #43 dodge SRT10 w/ TYGAxxxx 'DK' tune. The rest I didn't have too much trouble with. It's possible that the S-Bends one was just a fluke and I got lucky eventually because it really was an utter pain. But the showjump I tried numerous cars including smaller ones to make the pipes less of an issue but I just couldn't get the speed.

By Smogula on 21 Oct 2018 19:49
@J ROLLER yes I did but I had to put rally tires on it, otherwise it doesn't gain speed fast enough on the dirt and slides too much. You can get them for 10,000 credits in the tuning shop. It's ok that it brings down the rating from an X to an S2.

Would also highly recommend using the 918 Spyder with Rally tires for danger signs too as once I did that I nailed every one I still needed to do.

Was having a little trouble finding cars for the drift zones and speed zones on dirty/gravel.

I've just smashed them all out pretty much first time after reading comments and using

Holden Torana + drift tune + manual gears (3rd)
Jeep Trailcat + Don's offroad tune (already had the car and wasn't quite quick enough -, the made it SO easy, plus the engine sounds nice)

So thanks whoever tipped those cars, I've just got the achievement and a lot quicker than I thought I would (I'm not a great driver haha!)

Oh and some of the drift zones, like S-bends, it helps to be drifting AS YOU ENTER the zone. You will get a few thousand points. Especially the zones where there might be a small straight into a sharp bend. You can do a little Scandinavian flick kinda move and grab a few points before the big corner.

ABS doesnt need to be off, that just pumps the brakes instead of locking them when braking, it doesnt affect a drift at all or handbraking O.o
I keep seeing solutions and posts suggesting its a must to be turned off when TCS and STM are all thats needed. Having used that viper in drift club 2.0 i found it a nightmare to handle and baffling people suggest it, but if it works whatever laugh

After seeing all the comments about drifting difficulty, just going to drop one name here: Hoonicorn

It's EZ mode for any zone, on or off-road, once you get a idea how it handles. I found myself using the handbrake to initiate a lot more than the Viper, but it can hold absurd angles and keep going.

For drift zones I used the dodge viper with the drift tune, manual gears 3rd gear with traction control off and stability control off and tap E brake a lot to carry on the drift and don't accelerate too much. You don't need anything else really. I took a few weeks off from playing it which helped and just got the rest of the drift zones done tonight, I'm very happy now. :)

Holden Torana was golden on every drift zone for me (and I suck ass at drifting), and is non-DLC. For the 95k zones put it in second instead of 3rd though otherwise you'll have too much power in the bends. Thanks br34thedyn4m1te!

Best advice was to ignore the Viper (it’s an utterly undriveable piece of garbage) and use the Willy’s Jeep and the Holden for drift zones (with the appropriate tunes, of course)!

Willys Jeep with TYGAxxxx setup is amazing. From not getting any stars, to 3 stars on all 20 zones in 2 hours. Only S bends took me couple tries. Don't rush it too much and you'll be fine.

Willy Jeep is great though.
Not impossible, took a bit, but then went great.
Full throttle shortly to initiate drift, then tap throttle repeatedly and steer accordingly.

If anyone is struggling with M68 speed trap. I eventually used 2010 mosler MT900S with my tune M68, creator DJ Stotty.

Start from the south to the right of the Astmoor sign, and you should have no problem hitting 270mph. If you hit traffic just rewind.

For the Agera use a tune from the creator “piebald cow” this is best for danger signs, speed traps and speed zones.

First of all, thaaaank you mr edmeister!!! I'd literally made all the drift zones with the jeep. It was smooth.
Also, S Bends is a pain in the a** to complet, but just set the car to manual (all other zones can be made with the car in automatic) and keep it in 2nd, it'll make things kinda easy 😁😁

Another +1 for the Ford Roadster car/tune combo above. It handles like a boat, but as soon as I figured it out how to drive it, I slid into 94k in a pretty scruffy run. Was also able to 3 star Sycamore Pastures on my first try with the Roadster after that, so it can do the off-road drift zones with the same tune (no tyre change!) as well.

Oh, and big thanks to Sighris for the other cars/tunes in the original solution here, they did me right for 3-starring 90% of the stunts.

The 2006 Formula Drift #43 Dodge Viper SRT can make drifting easy but bloody hell is it hard to control at first. I'm still struggling with it as i'm not used to driving with the stability and traction off (plus manual gears ) so it can be really hard going to start with. Persevere and tame that twitchy bastard.

I managed all Danger signs in the Ariel Nomad 2016 apart from the following:

Broadway Windmill - Ford Escort RS (just used a tune up that maxed it).
Outcrop Crest - Koenigsegg Agara RS
The Great Ridge - Koenigsegg Agara RS

With all the cars i've mention I used the tune up's as per Sighris's solution.

It's still pretty hard, but by far the easiest is the #43 Dodge for the drift. I went from not getting a single 3-star in 30-45 minutes to 6 3-stars in the next hour. It'll be tough but do-able. It's not great on true dirt, but grit or road keep it in 4th and its perfect. 3rd doesn't give you enough speed, 5th too much.

@ScariestRug9882 - I did obtained the game via game pass, however I read on one of the castle solution that if you own the dlc car packs you get all the cars for free (formula drift and maybe James Bond). Then by spending around 19 skill points you are able the get the car value back. In fact, I have spent 19 SP got my 300’000 back but didn’t make any profits.

I highly recommend these cars if you don't have the carpass:
- Lambo Aventador FE for speed traps, zones and jumps
- Hoonigan Twerkstation for the drift zones
- Opel Manta or Ford Hoonigan for dirt speed zones and drift zones.

• Upgrade these car to the max/best without any tunes to be done except the Twerkstation: upgrade the car so it has a lot of HorsePower and no need to upgrade the handling. Also should you keep it a RWD since this is a drift car.

For anyone who is finding the PR stunts awkward in winter you can follow these steps to choose your season...

1. Disconnect from the internet (take out your Ethernet cable/disable wireless in the Xbox settings.
2. Perform a full system shut down.
3. Turn your console back on
4. Go into your settings and change the date to the season you wish (seasons change Thursday around 16:00 UTC)
5. Launch the game and play on.

You won't be able to play online obviously but for those who are trying to get the PR stunts and can't wait for the season to change this is an option.

To get back to normal just reconnect the internet. (Probably best to shut down the game first.)

Edit: it seems doing this resets any current forzathon progression so finish off the weekly/daily challenges of you don't want your progression lost.

Aloha!

Below you will find cars I used for this cheevo.

Danger Zones: Porsche 918 Spyder

Speed Zones (Non-Dirt): Porsche 918 Spyder

Speed Zones (Dirt): 2016 Ariel Nomad (Weebok tune)

Drift Zones (Non-Dirt): 2006 Formula Drift #43 Dodge Viper SRT (Tiptronik tune)
Drift Zones (Dirt): 2015 Formula Drift #13 Ford Mustang (King Posh "EZ AWD DRIFT")

Porsche 918 Spyder should be maxed out (auto upgrade is fine) with proper tires (racing/dirt). I only had to use a different car (2016 Koenigsegg Regera) for one zone (Strathbridge) for some reason, but that's just me :)

2006 Formula Drift #43 Dodge Viper SRT is part of the DLC available to Game Pass members. This car is NOT free for the DLC owners, however, it costs 300k and you get 300k back via its skills. You have to learn it but once you do you'll ace the drift zones after a couple of tries (screw the S-Bends to hell!).
Traction and Stability Control off, Automatic because I could not control this beast on Manual in 3rd.

2015 Formula Drift #13 Ford Mustang - Traction and Stability Control off, Automatic. I don't even use E-Brake or regular brake here, just steering and accelerating - takes a while to figure out but it works wonders on dirt.

PS. I could not for the life of me beat S-Bends with Viper but I just did it with the Mustang - this car is probably the easiest for most of the Drift Zones (if not for all). The car requires Formula Drift DLC (free with Game Pass I believe, because I did not pay a dime for the game nor the DLC).

Finally got S-bends using the Dodge & Tiptronik (and I suck at drifting!). Key addition was to make sure that ABS was off. This means less random drops of drifts half way through curves. Going top to bottom, needed about 25k through the first curve then hitting 70k coming out of the second curve. Leaving 10k to get on the short straight and 10k through the final curve. Main reason for posting though is just to celebrate - don't think my gf or the dog care lol. Good luck guys, if I can do it then anyone can!

I´ve unlocked the last achievement, in Forza Horizon 4 yesterday and didn´t get the completition / 100%.
Has anyone a clue why ???

I struggled with the offroad Speed Zones using the Ariel Nomad (and the Aggera was too bouncy). I found that making my own Lambo Huracan Rally car by basically upgrading to a V12, twin turbo, adding all engine upgrades, weight reduction, etc but then using Rally tires and Rally suspension. No tuning required, just strapping on parts. I found the rally Huracan to be faster and more stable than the Nomad, and less bouncy than the Aggera

The Rally Huracan is the only way to do this.

I 3-star'd every dirt speed zone/trap and even 3-star'd some danger signs I was struggling with with this setup.

10-star solution. This will help if you're struggling. Perma-ban the downvoters, they're clearly delusional.

After reading dozens upon dozens of comments of people not being able to do the Dirt Speed Zones, I realized I breezed through them with my own setup in the Hoonigan Ford RS200 Evolution.
It was so easy with my setup, I didn't even think people were having trouble with them.
Since so many people were having trouble with it, I uploaded my Tune. I didn't really change much with the car, as it was basically built for this.
And for those doing Forzathon Live, it's one of the best overall cars to take into it.

Creator: XJCreek87
Tune: Dirt Speed Zone

It's not going to break any records, but it gets the job done with ease!
Every single one of my Dirt Speed Zones was 3* with this setup.

I would like to add to Sighris

I was really struggling for the 3rd stars on dirt drift zones.

I took the #43 Dodge,
BUT
There are 2 Tiptronik setups, one for dirt, one for Drift King.
This gave me my stars in less than 2 hours.
NOTE: I couldn't drift for saving my life.

Only hard for me the OFFROAD SPEEDZONES, but I found a better way, so this solution focus on this category. Still not a full guide, sorry!

First really important thing: winter is the same as in real life: poor visuals, slippery road etc. Wait for another season, the good weather is a big help! You need a really fast car, so it's must be a hypercar, but these cars are built to track racing, so the control in corners are terrible! You can hit cn_Y button for rewind, but only twice in a row and only in the middle or end of the speedzone, else you will lose your points. By the way this is true for every zone styled stunts. Try to start the zones as fast as you can. Don't follow the road before them, just start with a long straight from the grass, so you can accelerate to 200-240km/h then hit a double brake in the first corner. Always start with the straighter part to earn very good average speed at the beginning, then you can lose more points at the end in the corners.

For Record Breaker achievement you need a Bugatti Veyron Super Sport. Don't worry for the money, you can buy it for 2.2M credits and easily sell on auction for 2-2.5M.
Forza Horizon 4Record BreakerThe Record Breaker achievement in Forza Horizon 4 worth 68 pointsGet 258mph on a Speed Trap in the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport.

I used this car with my custom offroad setup. Feel free to download it:
Name: OffroadSpeedzone
Creator: zsoltee53.

These are the hardest speedzones for me. Tried many times with McLaren Senna and other fast cars, but finally the Bugatti helped me out in a few minutes!
- Hillside (137km/h for 3 stars) - 136km/h before and 141km/h after Bugatti
- Carden Creag (145km/h for 3 stars) - 131km/h before and 147km/h after Bugatti

You can use any other hypercar with offroad setups, maybe you already won some by wheelspin. Recommended to use a 400+km/h capable car! Bugatti isn't the best car in corners, but I choosed it because I don't want to waste my money for expensive cars.

How I did the other stunts
You can complete the most PR stunts without problem if you have a good drift car and a fast hypercar. Formula Drift DLC is free for Game Pass subscribers and Ultimate Edition owners, so you can choose any car and download a better drift setup. Use manual shift and drive in gear 1 or 2! Turn off every handling aids! For every other stunts I used fully tuned McLaren Senna which is free if you played the demo before (players received a download key in Xbox LIVE message). Of course you can choose other non DLC cars.

If you're like me and you can't feather the accelerator, you only drive in automatic, or can't concentrate because of all of the traffic, these are the things that helped me the most, and I didn't see them mentioned anywhere.

Drift Zones:

I used the Formula Drift #118 Nissan 240SX with a tune by Don Joewon Song (this tune is not available anymore, but if anyone is interested in trying to re-create it, I am happy to take screenshots of all of the upgrades and fine tuning pages. Please DM for that!) It is an AWD Formula drift car, and when you mash on the gas the rearend doesn't slip like all of the other ones. With traction control off I got all 20 drift zones in it. The harder ones (especially S-Bend) I did my best scores in the rain. I always stay in automatic.

I did all Fortune Island and Lego Valley drift zones in the Hoonigan Gymkhana 8 Ford Fiesta with the Kelte1986 A800 tune. Please let me know if this is no longer available and I will provide screenshots if you want to re-create it.

You can rewind many many times in in Horizon Solo. I've rewinded up to 20 times in one zone without losing my score. The only time I can't is when I'm online.

For all PR Stunts:

The traffic. The ghosting totally bugs my eyes and I can't focus at all. I found myself instinctively trying to avoid cars as well. Also, they tend to get in the way for Danger Signs and Speed Traps.

Make sure you are in Horizon Solo and are in the vehicle you want to use. Complete any story chapter, even if you've already done it, as long as you get one star and complete it (not quit) it will remove all traffic. Do not fast travel or change cars or it will come back, so I picked whichever one was closest to the stunts I wanted to complete. You can change your settings for Traction Control, etc. This trick also works on Fortune Island and Lego Valley.

I completed everything without any DLC besides the drift cars that were given to me as soon as i first played the game /shrug , heres the vehicles i used

Speed Traps: 2015 Koenigsegg ONE:1
Speed Zones: 2015 Koenigsegg ONE:1 & 2016 Ariel Nomad (Weebok tune) for all dirt speed zones (red roads)
Drift Zones: #43 Dodge Viper SRT10 Formula Drift with "Tiptronik" tune
Danger Signs: I realized you can do all of these with almost any fast high S2 cars. The Sagaris TVR with a random max tune build worked best for me.

Overall I found most of this very easy and it only took around 4 hours to complete everything that i didn't already accidentally have. Good Luck!

23 Mar 2019 22:49

This is just a solution for one PR Stunt but it was the hardest one and was killing me. Ended up smashing it with one tip. It's still using the Formula Drift Dodge. However, everyone is saying gear 3 for all the drift zones. This worked for me on all except S-Bends. Use gear 4. In gear 4 I got 94,253 first attempt heading downhill (South to North / East to West). I used Tiptronik's Drift Zone tune. Manual (GEAR 4), ABS Off, Traction Control Off, Stability Management Off, Steering Normal. Braking line may help you know when to brake more on the bends. Remember, you can use rewind before it comes up FAIL. So use that to your advantage if you make a good 25k+ first turn.

If like me you had serious issues with the Horizon Doughnut and other wide turns like that on drift zones, I found that disabling both Traction Control AND Stability Control helped massively.

Spent 20 mins on the Doughnut with just Traction Control barely getting 27k, but the moment I turned stability control off I got 40k first try.

If you don't have the car pass, a really good replacement for the Agera is the Mosler, it's fast and handles really well, I've used it for pretty much everything, apart from drift zones and off road speed zones. For offrqod a good car is the Bowler.

Speed Traps: For those on driveways, Apollo IE, Agera RS and 599XX Evolution are suitable, and I really recommend Apollo IE. For off-road, Shelby Monaco King Cobra will be easy.
Speed Zones: Try Apollo IE and Shelby Monaco King Cobra.

Not a full solution, but for anyone who found the drift zone's seemingly impossible (like me - couldn't drift to save my life!) here's what I'd suggest if you have the formula drift cars. I know some people might argue about these settings but it's What I found worked best for me :)

Car - 2006 Formula Drift #43 Dodge Viper SRT10
Tune - Drift Zone by Tiptronik ( Car class : S2 982 )

I had the following settings:

Braking - ABS On
Steering - Simulation
Traction Control - Off
Stability Control - Off
Shifting - Automatic ( I only turned this off for the last one I had to do which was S-Bend, although I'd now reccomend to turn it to manual for other zones as well if you're having difficulty)
Driving Line - Braking Only
Damage & Tyre Wear - Simulation (This can actually help a little on some once tyre's get a bit worn!)
Rewind - On

Feather the accelerator! I found this was so important when in a great slide to keep it going. You'll end up getting a bit of a feel for it however, and there are times when (especially in manual shifting) you can just hold it down.

If using manual shifting ( which really helps with not making the car go too fast ) I'd set it into 2nd gear and leave it there perminantly.

Don't try to use the handbrake, you're more likely to spin out or slow down too much, if you need to brake just tap the normal brakes.

Some of the drift zones it seems easier to attain the score if you've entered it from a certain direction, keep trying and see if there's one where you're score is consistantly higher - however I'd keep driving back through each way as you never know when you'll get lucky with a great slide!

Using rewind can be great if you spin off or do something terrible - however beware it can be very hard to control the car when resuming play, so constantly relying on rewind isn't great and you can end up scoring much less.

Some of the drift zones seem almost impossible to get the target score, but keep trying you'll get there eventually :)

After 5 months of trying completed the last 3 drift stars back to back using the viper tiptronik tune by switching to auto. https://twitter.com/i/status/1137545423650820096

Hi, first this only about S-Bends drift, I dont know where else to post it. With other stunts there are many solutions mentioned abouve or on youtube. But this is my new finding, only last one I struggle for a long time was S-Bends. So I took advice from "Do you know what 'DK' stands for?" user: NMANOZ, also reading the post from user: Irrotational is helpfull.

So you know the drill ABS OFF, TC OFF, SC OFF. For me it really helps to turn off DRIVING LINE. I did it from the top. Notice how the first left turn is tricky. Its better to stick with left line, even maybe cross it. If you dont, I release many times "Ohh great turn!" but no points :-(. Do a 2 - 3 drift on a straight. Beware on the end of second turn it gets more sharp.

BUT, if you stil cant (it was summer season) wait for RAIN!!!. After hour of trying I got it (in the rain).

And sorry dont call us noobs, even when we use FD pack, If we are able to accomplish this and never find big joy in drifting as PROs.

Thx users mentioned above. Peace.

PR stunts are events that are white with a red border. You have to get 3 stars on every event to unlock this achievement. By hovering over each event on your map you will see what qualifications you need to get 3 stars in that event. Each event is different so you'll have to use cars that are best for each event (fast cars for speed zones, cars that drift well for drift zones, etc.) Once you get 3 stars on all events the achievement will unlock.

The correct selection of machines is very important, and there are universal options, but somewhere you will have to sharpen something for yourself.
My version:
Speed cameras, asphalt speed zones, jumps, drift - Porsche 918, upgraded to X999
Speed zones on gravel - Ariel Nomad, upgraded to S2

The Hoonigan Ford Hoonicorn is great for passing through drift zones. Costs 500,000.

In the settings, be sure to turn off “stability control” and “anti-slip system.” The gearbox is manual. We put 3rd or 4th gear and go (on some tracks I raced in 2nd gear) Remember that speed is also important, as it gives more points. Well, don’t forget to use rewind if something goes wrong.

A cheap and cool option for asphalt drift zones is the BMW Isetta, it costs 45,000 KR, tuning will cost a maximum of 100,000 KR, and generally even less (I don’t remember exactly, unfortunately, but the total is about ~130,000-140,000) . Its peculiarity is that during tuning it constantly slips, due to which drift points are awarded even on straight sections at a very small angle. And if you give in to the gas in turns, or on a straight line wobble too much from side to side, the points will fall down like a mountain.
In off-road areas, the Isetta does not perform well; in this case, the Viper from Formula Drift is better suited, as Sanische advised.

So, regarding drifting: the car is 2006 Formula Drift #43 Dodge Viper SRT, tuning configuration by Tiptronik (Drift).
Manual transmission - gear 3, turn off the ABS, CV and let's go, I haven't seen anything better than this car, it drifts in winter and summer, both on gravel and on asphalt, along the drum.
The car itself from the Formula Drift DLC (comes free with a game pack) is sold at auctions for up to 50k.
If there is no DLC, then we suffer on -
1994 Mazda MX-5 Miata (Spilner)
2015 Ultima Evo Coupe 1020 (Spilner)

For passing rally high-speed sections it is difficult to think of something better than BAC MONO 2014. S2 RALLY GRIP tuning configuration. Everything passes the first time with 3 stars. Ariel Nomad is basically uncontrollable.
