Forza Horizon 5

For me the statue was invisible (playing on PC). Go to this spot and take a picture of the building to get the achievement regardless if you can see it or not.

This can be achieved once you've progressed to unlocking the ability to build a new outpost. When you get the chance, choose the Horizon Apex adventure, and the first tier of the adventure, called Tulum Expedition.

You'll be tasked with following Rami, who's cleverly decided to fly his wee daft plane into a tropical storm. You'll end up amongst some ancient Aztec ruins, with 5 objectives to try and complete in this area. The 5th objective in the list is to "Photograph the golden statue", which is actually the golden totem described in this achievement. Head to the most south eastern corner of the area (around the 4 o'clock direction, there's a corner of the area that juts in, you're wanting to be on the northern border of this area, I'll upload a photo of exactly where you'll find it once TA has picked up my Xbox screenshots. In this area you'll find the statue encased in some wooden scaffolding. Simply press to bring out your camera to take a photo of the statue. You'll unlock this achievement, and also Stunning Photography for taking a photo during a tropical storm.
