Just a note. It's the pinata next to the 2nd stand you have to smash. Not the stand itself.

On the final Chapter of Drift Club Mexico, you'll see smaller-sized pink donkey piñatas on the side of the road on route to the first target. I noticed hitting the first set of piñatas on the cart didn't trigger the achievement. It wasn't until I ran over the piñatas on the ground at the hairpin turn that the achievement popped.

Under the description of the achievement where it says "Smash a Piñata in the 'Drift Club Mexico..." is a link you can click that takes you to the list of tracked gamers who have unlocked it. Or look to the right at First Winners. Currently at 490

There is another stand, after the second left hand corner, on the left.

The piñatas can be found in the sixth and final chapter of the Drift Club Mexico story. From the start follow the path to the first 180 turn. At the peak of this turn is a stand with piñatas on it. Crash through this stand to earn your achievement.
