How to unlock the Living Legend achievement in Forza Horizon 5 - Definitive Guide
As of 5/3/22 there are now 357 stars, 48 more than at launch with 309 stars available to earn so there is some room for you to skip some tougher ones you're struggling with (63 stars can now be missed)
In order for all the PR stunts to show on the map you will need to open the Horizon Rush festival outpost.
PR stunts are Trailblazers, Speed Traps, Speed Zones, Drift Zones and Danger Signs. They show up on the map as white signs with red borders (Common UK road sign design)
Some PR stunts may show as seasonal PR stunts, their normal 3 star requirements are all thats needed for those.
You can track how many stars you have on the 'Living Legend' accolade in 'Hall of Fame' section of the accolades menu but the achievement does have a percentage tracking too.
-For Drift Zones make sure you have traction control and stability turned off in assists, manual transmission helps too. Drifting left and right as you go along the roads is a good way to earn points, you dont have to only score on the corners
-Speed Zones & Traps are all dependant on which end you start at so pick your route wisely to be fastest.
-Danger Signs are all about a good run up and a good route, if you land poorly remember you can rewind (unless you disabled it) and you MUST land the jump without flipping or crashing.
-Trailblazers have a set start and end point but you choose the route so use you map to plan where you'll go and where possible get a good run up to the starting gate.

For almost every PR stunt (including newly added) I used the Ultima Evolution Coupe 1020 2015 tune share code 997 931 990 and offroad code 106 966 269. Car costs 300k on the autoshow or cheaper from auction house and tune costs around 100k. Im sure there is probably better but thats a versatile car for me. (3rd/4th for drifting)

PR Stunts are the white and red icons that appear on the minimap.
Speed Traps are shown on the map as a single speed camera. You need to drive as fast as you can through the camera.
Speed Zones are shown on the map as 2 speed cameras next to each other. You need to keep a high average speed through the zone.
Danger Signs are shown on the map as a... well... danger sign. These usually have a ramp or are on top of hills. You will need to jump as far as you can and land the car (landing upside-down or crashing after landing will fail it).
Drift Zones are shown on the map as a car drifting. You will need to drift your car and score points whilst doing it. You will earn more points based on how fast you're going and how much oversteer you're getting, if that makes sense.
Trailblazers are shown on the map as a waypoint icon. You need to find the quickest route to get from the start of the trailblazer to the end. (Marked on the map as a finish line, you can see green flares when you're near it)
To unlock majority of the PR stunts, you will need to open the Horizon Rush festival outpost.
If you are having trouble doing the stunts, there is a car that I've found to do most of the stunts with relative ease.
Car: 1986 Hoonigan Ford RS200 Evolution
Cost: 500,000 Credits
Tune Name: Stunt King
Tune Creator: Don Joewon Song
Class: S2 985 (with tune)
I have found this car to be extremely good at doing the PR stunts. If you're still having trouble with the drift zones, try using the Formula Drift cars from the car pack you get with the car pass, they are also really good options
Edit:
I've found another useful car that can be used if you are having trouble completing some of the PR stunts for this one. It's mainly intended for road PR stunts though.
NOTE: THIS CAR IS ONLY AVAILABLE WITH VIP.
Car: 2011 BMW X5 M Forza Edition
Cost: Free with VIP
Class: S2 998
You can use it stock but if you intend to go for some of the more demanding speed traps, this tune is also great.
Tune Name: EXP+CR MAX445KM
Tune Creator: Ziv Mving 7
Class: X 999
If there are any other cars you guys find useful, leave them in the comments but I think these 2 cars are solid choices.

In Forza Horizon 5 there are 103 different PR events in 5 different disciplines. There are:
31 speed traps
22 speed zones
20 danger signs
20 drift zones
10 trailblazer gates
So, that means there are a possible 309 stars to earn. So in order to get this achievement, you need to unlock 294 of them, which is basically most of them. In short, this is gonna take a lot of time and effort, namely because you need the right tools for the job. For most of the speed zones, traps, danger signs and trailblazer gates, grab yourself a Lamborghini Sesto Elemento Forza Edition 2011 and that can be maxed out to have 8.9 speed, 10 handling, 10 acceleration, 10 launch and 10 braking - that tends to do the job across the board. In fact, it can work for a lot of the drift zones too because of the sheer power and torque, but if you're struggling, try a specific drift car, like the Ford 88 Mustang RTR (2018) or the Formula Drift 64 Nissan 370Z (2018).
There's an issue with Sesto Elemento though: it's a Wheelspin car, so fingers crossed you got lucky like me. If not, buy a Lamborghini Centenario LP 770-4, as that's a beast too.

It is not necessary to pass all daring tricks with 3 stars in this part; especially difficult ones can be left and not suffer. Ken Block's Ford Hoonicorn is perfect for the job! Moreover, I always thought that this car was purely for drifting, but it turns out that it also clicks in high-speed sections and radars and jumps! And both on gravel and asphalt. I went through everything on it.
