You can choose one team to begin with. I chose the raptors. You can level up your team by doing challenges in your team tab. The highest level you can reach is level 9. But at level 7 you already earn a achievement in the case of the raptors it' s living up the rep. In any case you should reach level 9 with team raptors, team apex predators and the grit reapers. When you reach level 9 in each faction, you unlock a championship race. Simply beat all three of them to unlock the achievement.

There is a team championship for each of the three teams. After unlocking the team, you need to increase your reputation with that team by completing their various challenges and win 8 of their events. Once both of those have been achieved, you’ll unlock that team's Championship. These are similar to the Showcase Events of the main game, as they are just larger/longer format races. Win all three to pop this achievement. You can always replay races and turn down the AI difficulty if you have trouble.
