Forza Horizon 5

There are 4 Showcase Events in total. The first being 'On a Wing and a Prayer' which you unlock early on in the game through progression.

The remaining 3 are unlocked through Festival Outpost site expansions. They are as follows:

'Flood, Sweat and Gears' (Horizon Wilds)

'Buggy and the Beast' (Horizon Baja)

'Catch Me If You Canyon' (Horizon Rush)

Complete and win each of these to unlock the achievement.

Edit: after reading the comments, it appears that some people are having issues with this achievement being stuck at 75%, or less.

It sounds like 'Buggy and the Beast' is the issue, so I'd suggest playing the game in Quality mode, instead of Performance (Pause Menu > Settings > Video > toggle Quality) and ensure that you get first place in the event. Also ensure that you complete the second part of the event with the bowling pins. I got 4/5 from the objectives in this round and this unlocked for me without any issues.

Ok Ladies and Gents, I'd like to make a few points on this achievement.

Point 1

This can actually be tracked via in game. However, you will need to be in the HOF (Hall of Fame). Go into Accolades -> Hall of Fame -> Putting on a show (Top row 4th accolade). You can pin this accolade by pressing A and now when you are in Free Roam you can see which ones the game registered as complete and which one are incomplete. This should help with any confusion and frustration from doing all of them over and over and over again till this pops. Wish I knew about this an hours ago lol

For me, for some strange reason I had completed each of showcases however the accolade for Flood sweat and tears didnt unlock. After completing it a 2nd time the accolade finally unlock thus popping this achievement. I honestly have never played any game that had soooo many bugs and glitches at launch. This is what you get when you want to rush things into production instead of actually you know TESTING things lol.


If you dont have HOF unlocked dont fear, I got you covered. You can still track this. Each Showcase event has its own accolade for complete it.

Story related, cant be missed but the location is Accolades -> Welcome to Mexico -> Adaptable accolade (2nd column, last one on the bottom)


4) Flood, swear and gears
accolades -> Festivals -> Horizon Wilds Outpost tab -> Catching waves accolade (Left column, 3rd one down)


The above should be a great help with tracking and figuring out which ones you need to complete not to mention, saving your controller from fits of rage and to your stress levels. If you guys have any suggestions please let me know

for the Buggy and the beast showcase, I am playing on my gaming pc and read that adjusting the frame rate help. Looking at those settings, I changed it from 144 to 32 and holy crap it started to make my eyes hurt. I tried it out anyways and it made no different what so ever about beating the monster truck. Not sure why adjusting your frame rate would make any different lol. I digress, when it comes time for you to drive the monster truck I have noticed if you go into reverse, build some speed (like 1-5 MPH) then press start and press X to reset cars position once it goes back onto the track you'll be able to go forward again. There a catch to this however. It might take a few tries or when it does go forward after resetting the position it might go work as it is suppose to or it might be limited to 20 or so MPH, at least it was in my experiences.

There is one more alternative, do everything in reverse. I know this might sound a bit difficult but once you go into reverse press the RS toward you to. You'll be driving in reverse but it will look like you are actually going forwards. The Monster truck was a little difficult to drive this way but you'll get the hang of it once you get use to it and I was able to complete all 5 objectives in the time frame given.

b3n irl has a great guide above on how to unlock the showcases. I was having major issues with "Buggy and the Beast", as the monster trucks seemed impossible to beat (they flew down the course and knocked me out of the way). Apparently you have to move on PC to 36 FPS, so something is definitely tied to the FPS that you're running at. If you are having trouble with that specific showcase, give that a try.
