How to unlock the Smash Happy achievement in Forza Horizon 5 - Definitive Guide

These are found in the 'Horizon Origins' story pack. They're all located just off the recommended paths, one in each Horizon race, excluding Chapter 1: Horizon Mexico. I recommend not doing these while trying to go for 3 stars as they'll inevitably screw up your shortcuts.
As you drive near each board, Scotty (the DJ host of this story pack) will comment on a board being very near.
Also, once you smash the board, you can quit the event and the board still counts as collected.

Chapter 2: Horizon Colorado
You'll be racing your second car, a red VW. This is the race for stars (not the first race against Darius). Follow the path down a dusty hill then up another. Partway up this hill, on your left, you'll spot the board. You're about 2.1 miles away from the target.

Chapter 3: Horizon Europe
You only use one car in this chapter, the Lamborghini Huracán. Start the race and follow the path you're told to. When you're about 3.3 miles away from the end (shortly after the first long corner) you'll find this board on your left-hand side.

Chapter 4: Horizon Australia
In the Lamborghini Centenario, the first car that you drive, with a 5-minute target to reach the destination, drive around the first corner and the board will be on your left a little way down the road. You'll be about 4.0 miles away from the end.

Chapter 5: Horizon UK
Finally, when driving the first car, the McLaren Senna, Follow the path down and around the road, just before your reach a right turn, about 2.4 miles away from the target, the board is on your right.

Can do in any order, you can replay all missions. If you're missing one I'd suggest checking your accolades as there is one for each.

I've hit Colorado twice now and it won't register.... awesome.🙄

Edit... finally got it to register after four attempts, don't know if this helped but I changed the driving viewpoint and hit the board really slowly when it did register.

Just a quick tip. You can smash the board and restart the event to atempt the 3 stars without going back to free roam.

For me the Chapter 2: Horizon Colorado route and car is totally different. No option to find that board due to this change. Rest all chapters are correct and at spot.

Got the accolade but no achievement, anyone else had this issue and have a solution?

Edit: Loaded up a mission again, destroyed one, popped the achievement after a good couple minute delay.

Has anyone else had issues with the achievement not popping? Completed all boards as per the guide (left event once board was smashed), accolades are all showing as complete in game

4 boards, 1 in each story after the introduction.

Horizon Colorado: This is found after starting the race in the VW, found along the side of the road on race route.

Horizon Italy: Found along side of the road on the suggested route when driving the Lamborghini Huracan.

Horizon Aus: Same as above, very early on along the race route while driving the Centenario.

Horizon UK: Same as above, very early on along the race route while driving the Senna.

Was just about to write this above guide! Also worth noting Scott will mention that there is a board, and to hit it! So it is fairly easy. I'm sort of disappointed by this update if I'm honest.

you dont really need a video, they're very hard to miss as long as you follow the road for the events that aren't timed for stars, the first part of the mission basically.
plus im pretty sure there is more than one per mission

who would like to follow the planned road. hardly anyone would like to go, they prefer to take shortcuts to make it an adventure. The next guide is better because it already includes video

Only pet peeve, it was "Horizon Italy", it was Horizon Europe because it included locations in France (like Nice)

Horizon Italy: Found along left side of the road (5,3km still) on the suggested route when driving the Lamborghini Huracan. Where the off-road route crosses

Horizon Aus: Same as above, very early on along the race route, on the left side, after 20-30sec. after the start, 6,4km still, while driving the Centenario.

Horizon UK: Same as above, very early on along the race route while driving the Senna. On the right Side, at the First right Turn, 3,9km up to drive

The races do not have to be finished. The achievement comes immediately when collecting the 4th board.

The four new Bonus Boards can be found along the road in the various chapters of the Horizon Origins story. Two are found during the star earning sections and two are found during the race to the destination.

To get the achievement, you need to knock down one stand in each of the four races of the "Horizon Origins" story.

Races may not be completed. We knocked down a stand, went out and launched the next one. Saves time.
