You Could Say I'm a Fan
Earn a Manufacturer Bonus for a collection of 25 or more cars

How to unlock the You Could Say I'm a Fan achievement in Forza Horizon 5 - Definitive Guide
The only possible manufacturers are currently:
- Chevrolet
- Ferrari
- Ford
- Porsche
The manufacturer bonus only unlocks when you own ALL CARS for that manufacturer. So, if you choose FORD, you'll need all 58.
By far the easiest, and cheapest will be Chevrolet, which has 26 total cars, although 1 is rewarded through the Car Collection menu. The other manufacturers end up being way more expensive and rely on rarer cars through wheelspins.
You should be able to buy 23 of the cars from the Autoshow for approximately 1.4M credits. A few others must be rewarded through wheelspins, accolades, or purchased from the Auction House for additional CR.

So one of the Chevo cars is unlockable if you do a 1million skill chain. Any tips on this?

It is not definitively known if you need the Factory Fresh accolade as a prerequisite to get the achievement to unlock, but I recommend unlocking it beforehand if you can just in case. Comments on the top solution have stated that they were able to unlock the achievement without it.
To earn this achievement, you need to unlock/purchase all cars from a single manufacturer with more than 25 cars. Maka91 has provided a guide to doing this with some recommendations on which cars to go for, but for this achievement to unlock, I believe you actually need to unlock the in-game accolade of the same name (Accolades > Discovery & Collections > Car Collection). The "You Could Say I'm a Fan" accolade is the bottom one in the second column, but it is not available to earn from the start. To unlock it, you have to complete the "Factory Fresh" accolade (4th row down, 4th column), which requires you to earn 15 manufacturer bonuses. This sounds harder than it actually is, as there are many manufacturers that only have one or two cars. Some of the ones I would recommend for "Factory Fresh" that only have one car that can be purchased for <100,000 credits each are:

This is only achievable by four manufacturers, which are:
- Chevrolet
- Ferrari
- Ford
- Porsche
The cheapest option would be Chevrolet, which only costs $1,400,000 CR to buy from the Autoshow. You can also use the Auction House to reduce costs, provided you can find one cheaper of the said cars.
Aside from the Forza Edition of the C1 Corvette (1960), two other Corvettes cannot be found in the Autoshow. The Corvette ZR-1 (C3) is the most expensive of the Chevrolets, which may cost a million or more to buy from the Auction House, unless you find it in the Forzathon Shop, Seasonal events, or being lucky to pull one from a Wheelspin, so buy the said Corvette first and if you are low on credits or not interested in it, you can sell it back to the Auction House for roughly a million credits. It will still count as having been obtained regardless of being auctioned or discarded, while the Corvette ZR1 (C7) can be won by banking a 1,000,000 skill chain.

Used this method, Cheevo popped as soon as I claimed the manufacturers bonus.

I recommend leaving this as one of your final achievements after you've mostly done everything and earned around ~10,000,000 credits
As others have mentioned there are only 4 manufacturers available that would get you this achievement
Chevrolet
Ford
Ferrari
Porsche
I collected Ferraris and I mostly went for all the cheap ones who cost less than 1,000,000 credits. Auction House was amazing in sniping those for even cheaper prices than Autoshow sells them for.
Anyway as of date of writing this there are 38 Ferraris in the game. However you only need to own 25/38 to get the manufacturer bonus which will gift you 26th Ferrari 2013 LaFerrari and the achievement.
Hope this helps if you are not a fan of collecting Chevy's or Fords

Here's where things get a little trickier. There are - at time of publishing - 5 manufacturers with 25 cars or more: BMW, Chevrolet, Ferrari, Ford and Porsche, but not all of those cars can be straight up purchased. In all of them you need a little Wheelspin luck, to have completed some Accolade objectives and unlocked them in events and what not. So, what does that mean? Well, you should, for starters, ignore Ford, as they have an staggering 58 cars in the game, and in order to get the Manufacturer Bonus, you need to unlock most of the cars (not all). Also, sack Porsche off too - far too expensive across the board, same with Ferrari. That leaves you with Chevrolet and BMW.
So, basically what you need to do is play the game to death and see where you are when you reach the Hall of Fame. If you got lucky with Wheelspins for BMW over Chevrolet, then work on purchasing or waiting to Wheelspin the ones you're missing, but regardless of what happens, you might have to just pray on getting lucky. If you are one or two short though, go to the Car Collection, make a note of it, and then go to search for it on the Auction House. If it's not there, keep Wheelspinning and also looking out for it as a Season Event reward (or even buying it in the Forzathon Shop - AKA the seasonal event shop where you can spend your daily/weekly/seasonal objective currency.

The cheapest and most affordable option to close is Chevrolet. Almost all cars can simply be bought inexpensively at a car dealership/car collection, and those that are only from tapes or for other merits can be purchased at auction.

The Chevrolet option is not that cheap. There are two cars, a ’60 and a ’70 Corvette, which can only be bought at auction; they cost 1-2 million each. But don’t buy the 60th, they will give it as a gift after you collect 25 Chevrolets. But you’ll have to tinker with the seventieth to buy it cheaply. Sometimes people with zero mechanic or artist level put it up for auction for 171k. That's how I bought it. But in general, without having a lemma, it’s better not to meddle in this auction.

There are several brands to obtain the achievement:
- Chevrolet (cheapest option)
- Ferrari (expensive)
- Ford (many cars, but most of them are of lower cost)
- Porsche (expensive)
- BMW (not working) has 26 cars, but since the bonus is unlocked when you get your 24th car, it doesn't unlock the achievement
