This is a list not a guide. Not helpful at all, as I can see what the races are when I race them.

The races are really easy I think a list is sufficient enough once you've started the game and understand the mechanics, plus it tells you how to level up. +1 from me.

I came here wanting to know when/how I get my last race and it helped me.

I failed the RUF RGT-8 airplane one about 20 times in a row on easy, always just a couple tenths of a second behind the plane, before tweaking the settings. Set it to Easy and then custom change the following: Braking = ABS On, Steering = Simulation, Traction Control = Off. At the last checkpoint (89% mark), I was +0.29 and easily won. The problem with the straight-up Easy settings is that the assisted braking is too aggressive, especially during that last segment, as it will brake unnecessarily going up that slight hill right before the finish line and cost you the win. Turning that off will allow you to power through the finish line for the win instead.

This one is a good cheevo to go for and adds some different types of racing to Horizon. The numbers below are based on what level of popularity you are on, these only open up once you reach the particular levels. Should not be too hard to achieve. If you are having any problems you can lower the difficulty level before the challenges start.

At 250 beat the airplane point to point in Mustang Boss 428 is good craic and not that hard.
At 225 Audi Sport Quatro beat the hot air balloon point to point is also not that hard.
At 200 Circuit race with the Mini Cooper S is fun and easy.
At 175 beat the helicopter point to point in the corvetter grand sport convertible was hard for me, i dont know why but left it to one of the last ones to complete.
At 150 Ferrari F40 beating an airplane point to point, pretty easy.
At 125 Arbarth 500 circuit race equals gift
At 100 Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4. reasonably easy to beat the airplane on point to point.
At 75 RUF RGT-8 beat the airplane point to point, took me three goes, as the back end was always wanting to fishtail on some corners when i planted the power but not too difficult
At 50 Peugeot 205 T16 showcase cars point to point good fun and easy
At 1 Aston Martin One-77 beat the helicopter point to point, nice car likes to go sideways alot, so prepare for a lot of drifting, not a bad challenge

hi the best way to try and train yourself is to play through the game until you beat darius flynt. I felt by doing this, it tranined me on the handling of the more powerful cars, especially with the ones that are tail happy ie, the RUF RGT-8 and the Aston Martin On3-77.
Settings i had were braking line only, steer assist off, traction control off, difficulty easy. For those tight corners it is quicker and easier to dry and drift round the corners, this will take some practice.

One other thing dont worry if you are behind hitting the checkpoints, i was behind in the RUF RGT-8 race by 1.763 seconds and just about managed to cross the line in first. hope this helps.

For me the Corvette vs. the Helicopter was the hardest. It took me several tries... but I got it finally. Just remember this... go as smoothly and quickly as you can... and if you make a mistake... use your rewind... it really does help alot on these... along with playing them on easy!!! smile

Came here to say the Corvette is the hardest. It's really hard to read the best line in the dark tunnels. Does changing the AI difficulty effect aircraft? I assumed those races were essentially time trials.

This is bullshit! I don't think the game will allow you to win some of these events (RUF vs Plane) until you're at a certain point in the game ie purple or gold wristband.I've not struggled at all on this game yet I've tried & failed this maybe 10 times-setting a myriad of times from 3.05-3.12 & every time it beats me by .03 of a second-really annoying me now!angry

I really don't understand the down votes - I get those on my solutions but no clue why

The solution was well written and contains all the information needed - the challenges in the game were rather easy to be honest - I just have for the Aston to go now which I will prolly do tomorrow - +1 from me

You should add your tips in the comments to the solution. I found the comment more helpful than the guide.

I upvoted for your tip in the comments about the RUF GT-8. You should add this to your main solution. It was the only challenge that gave me any trouble and after trying about 20 times your method worked for me first try.
