How to unlock the Ghostbuster achievement in Forza Horizon - Definitive Guide
Just did this over Live with ElmoRedColor.
Get a boost partner and start a private lobby. Invite said boost partner. Go to Setup Game and select Kettle Hills-Stage 2. This is one of the shortest stages. At the end i was getting sub 1:40 times with the Subaru WRX '05 S700 Rating.
Win 10 times (we alternated back and forth) and the achievement is yours!

Anyone out there who has the pack want to boost this? I'll be on for the next 5 hours or so. I forsee this as being the only cheevo that will be a pain, and I want to keep my 100% that I had before this pack launched. GT is ridered777, throw me a friend or party request. Voice chat on, we'll swap wins so we both get it.

I do not want to take anything away from SAE Stick's solution for getting this achievement but I would like to mention a few tricks in case someone wants to win this in open competition.
1) Set up your own game and pick a rally set up that you are familiar and comfortable with. Race on your terms. Most importantly, set up a 2 player race because it is much easier to beat someone 1 on 1 as opposed to beating 7 other players if you are not really that good. (the default set up is 8 players.)
2) Prepare your cars beforehand. You can't change the class in online racing like you can in single player. If you like a particular car like the Subaru, you should buy the same car 3 more times and have one copy optimized for class B, A, S and R3. This way, no matter which race you happen to end up in, you can quickly select your favorite car from your garage rather than the junk heap rental they might give you.
3) If you are in a race and the other player(s) quit, KEEP RACING. They will get a DNF and you get the win which will count towards your 10 on-line winnings. Furthermore, keep racing until you have finished all 4 stages even if no one else is there because the system will still assign the former player a DNF for the whole rally and you will get credit for up to 4 stage wins. (you can't start off a rally series with no opponents and have it count)

Some great tips here, especially the fact that if your opponent quits mid-race you will still get the win/s if you continue on.
After playing a few races and finding that no-one ever quit out on me (and I'm total rubbish at online multiplayer) it led me to come up with a way to basically FORCE them to quit.
Ok, so it's a little dirty but what I did was set up public games (with all 4 stages and a max of 2 players) and set the end timer count down to NONE, waited for someone to join and started the game. Then, if it was apparent that I wasn't going to beat them I would let them get to the finish line and just stop and sit there. Because there's no end timer, the race won't end until all players cross the finish line. After a little while the other player would get sick of waiting and would quit out, leaving me to continue on alone and get assigned the 4 stage wins.
Like I said, a bit dirty (I did feel bad doing it) but very effective!

This needs to be done with at least 2 players. You can see the Achievement Trading Thread here:https://www.xboxachievements.com/f...d.php?t=408525 for people who are looking to boost in Private match.
Fastest way is to use standard settings (all stages) because you only need to win a stage for the achievement, not the whole Rally. So for 10 wins for both persons is doable in 5 games with 4 stages. "The Clear Springs Rally" seems to be the shortest Rally.
