One way to work toward this Achievement is to take a car into a race that severely outranks all the opponents. Check the opponents list with the X button before you enter it to see what cars you'll be racing at. If you are a class or two above, it will be very easy to pull away and outdistance your opponents.

Generally speaking, short tracks with a high number of laps increase your odds, especially if you're great at cornering. That's where you can add a lot of separation between you and the cars behind.

I earned this Achievement on the New York track, as the AI cars often bunch up at the end of the long straightaways, and somebody often ends up getting bumped and spun. That sets them back a long way, and with an overclassed car, the improved top speed and acceleration really come into play in the stretches.

Just to add to Vermin360's excellent solution: I got this with the Nissan R390 on the New York track like he suggested.. it was in 'Big Block Shootout' in Amateur Cup race in career.. the car is so much faster than the rest you don't have to do anything special, you just have to avoid smashing it into the wall at the end of the 2 straights. hehe
