How to unlock the Driver Level 50 achievement in Forza Motorsport 3 - Definitive Guide

Couple things about this achievement.

First off, it's very easy and should be accquired just by playing through season mode. It should be gotten near the end of Year 5 or sometime during Year 6.

Second off, increasing the settings won't get you extra XP, just money. If you turn off autobrake, for example, you get a 5% increase in money, but you don't gain any XP so if you're a new player and you don't have much skill, don't try turning off all the settings as they will NOT speed this achievement up.

So like the other 2 guys said, XP will be recieved by playing through the game. This may seem like an achievement that will take a long time but if you can win every race you are in, you should get this in a total of 20-25 hours of driving time and after about 200-300 races (depending on length and difficulty).

*EDIT* Also, may be pretty obvious but hiring a driver will not get you XP, just cash.

Finally, there are rewards for every level up. Therefore, by achieving Level 50, you should get 50 free cars. Here's the list of all the cars attained through leveling up:

1) 2010 Fiat 500 Abarth SS
2) 2009 Alfa Romeo Brera Italia Independent

well, all the events give different xp levels, some higher, some lower. id expect u hav unlocked all the events by now except the last world tour. the class R1 tour. when ever u get offered 3 events after a championship race, they will usually hav very very different lengths. 1 should have 3 or 4, the next 4 or 5, and then 5 or 6. if u want quick exp, do the 1 with 6 races as it'll reward u with alot more. but since u are done season 4 and ur already at 39 or 40 level, just do any event u wish and ull still probably bag it along with the yeer 6 achievement. ur on perfect track to get it during season mode.

Could you please elaborate on the purpose of your Year - level guide? Am am at the End of Year 3 and level 36. It seems rather pointless to include that "guide" as level will vary a lot!

it isnt necessarily where you would be, but rather where u should be atleast at. if ur already 36 then ur way ahead, but prolly cuz u did the longer events. the guide isnt exactly where you will be by the end, but rather where u should ATLEAST be.

Can you increase your Driver XP by doing races from the Event List or does all of the XP need to earned from the races in Season Play?

it can be for both. wat i would recomend is finish off season 6 to get ur XP. by then, ull probably be at 50 anyways but if ur not, then u should start working on some event list races.

Does Event List races wins add to XP?

yes. as long as u do not hire a driver, then they continue to add the regular amount of xp.

The worst thing about Forza 3 is that everyone gets all of these cars. So they become worthless in the Forza community. The awarded cars should have been random.

You can also mention the "Connoisseur" achievement in the solution, which is to own one car from every manufacturer. By leveling up, getting to level 50 will award you with 50 free cars in total. However, you will have a car from almost every manufacturer. Which also means you need to buy the cars from the manufacturers you don't own.

Just pointing that out, there.

I wish it wasn't so tempting to set the hired driver for all these races for bucket list.

I found the easiest way to level up is buy the Peugot 908 and race the R1 Speedway Challenge over and over. Boring yes, but very rewarding as it gives you the most XP for the least amount of time.

All the driver level achievements will be gained as you progress through the season career. Every time you finish a race you gain xp. It is best to win the race as you get more xp. You should get this before you finish Year Six of the career mode (if you win enough races). Every time you rank up your driver you get a free car, as you progress through the career mode the gaps between levels increase but the xp for winning races also increases for the longer races. It will come it just takes time. I actually got this in year five.

What i have found is that if you go to event list then endurance then complete the bottom race in the list you get 110K XP

The YouTube link shows this happening. The race takes about an hour so if you have the patience try it out and i think that you only need 2million XP to get from level 1-50 so do this race about 20 times and you will be level 50 in about 20 hours quicker than if you do the season career but you have to own a R1 ranked car and be about level 20 to get the race. if you hire a driver you don't get XP you only get half the money from the race which is about 55K

Simple enough to get, you should be able to get this by doing 6 Seasons. One thing to remember is that you must race them all yourself, do not hire a driver, as you will NOT recieve any XP for it.

I found a method can easy XP without playing, but you need a "turbo control"

1)Go my profile --->control setting and change to setting 6 (For change A button to clutch )

2)Select playlist and select "250 HP FWD SHOOT OUT" (The seven column)
(* Why not play "750 HP FWD SHOOT OUT" for more XP ? because some mistake will happen in high speed race,it will crash the wall sometime and make it not more efficiency)

3)Use turbo control "Turbo A button " and use an adhesive tape to hold RT button (which can make your car keep accerating)

For last,1 game have 2:18 to play 3 set game,and have 210 XP for each (210 X 3=630 XP)
1 game need 138S to finish and have 630XP
1 hour can play 26 game (60 X 60 /138 )= 16380XP

100,000 XP = 100,000 /630 = 159 game
159 game =159 X 138S /60/60 = about 6 hr

One other easy way for getting this achievement is to set up a private multiplayer lobby and set your settings to the following:

Track: Benchmark Layout E
Max Players: 8
Max AI Players: 7
AI Difficulty: Hard
Laps: 50
Damage Difficulty: Simulation
Collision Mode: Always On
End of Race Timer: 00:05

This is for max amount of money to be earned for this race which is 14,000 credits and the race should take about 6-7 minutes tops each time give or take banking 10,000xp. If playing with friends it is recommended that collision mode is set to ghost. Also you want to go to the very center of the track and go around the barricade as close as possible. The car recommended for this is the #9 Peugeot 908 for its handling.

These 18 achievements are gained by leveling you're driver through levels 0 to 50 (you start at 0). This process goes the same way as leveling up your car, you get XP for driving races, drags, drifts etc. Also both offline and online count towards these achievements. Maybe the best way is to drive online with a friend and use these settings:

Game type: Drag
Track: Sedona 1 mile
Damage difficulty: simulation
Number of heats: 10
Number of max players: 8
Number of max AI players: 7
AI difficulty: hard
Collision mode: always on
Number of teams: 4 (you will be teaming up with your friend)

Put all the assists off (or if you fail the start, you can put TCS on). Choose the 2007 #8 Peugeot Sport 908 (R1 997) and you will most likely win the drag. You get 1,225CR and 700XP for single heat. So when there is 10 heats, you get 10*1,225CR= 12,250CR and 10*700XP= 7000XP. It takes like 30 seconds to finish one heat, so it's 300 seconds for 10 heats (5 minutes).
