How to unlock the Grease Monkey achievement in Forza Motorsport 4 - Definitive Guide

You don't actually need to tune the car at all. All you need to do is go to Upgrade > Tune Setup > Start > Save Current Setup, give it a name, once its saved cheevo will pop.

Has anyone had an issue with this? When I try to save a tuning set up it tells me my save file is corrupt. I don't want to delete the file and start over and I don't have problems with any other aspect of the game ... is there a way to get around this?

^ I'm having the same issue, tried on a new game and it still didn't work. I really don't want to delete my save game either.

I had the corruption issue as well. What I did to get around the issue was quit to the Xbox dashboard, re-launched the game, this time choosing a different hard drive (in my case, "Cloud Saved Games") than the one on which my main saved game resides, and then it worked.

Same deal as Forza 3. While in career, go to upgrade, then tune, adjust the tire pressure a 1/2 pound, and hit start to save. Your 10 points richer.

You can unlock this achievement once you have acquired your first car in the Career.

Once you own at least one car head into the Career mode and under Upgrade and select Tune Setup. You do not have to change anything but feel free to if you wish, once you are ready press cn_start to save the Tuning file.

That is exactly what I did, just went in and saved the file. No problems.

Just go to: Upgrade > Tune Setup > Start >Save Current Setup, then select an empty slot and save the tune.
