How to unlock the Digging Gold achievement in Forza Motorsport 6 - Definitive Guide

For those of us who are Tier 8 (which skips the Tier 6 gold medal)

Here are some I have found so far:

Add 100 cars to your garage
Complete 4 Career Volumes
Drive for 500 miles (This was my first gold)
Reach Driver Level 30
Complete 12 Career Car Divisions
Lead 250 Laps in a Race
Earn 100 Race Wins
Complete 50 Showcase Events
Use 800 Mods
Gain 250 Perfect Passes
Reach Tier 6 in Forza rewards (may be less?)

Will update when I find more, but here is a start.

I got tier 6 rewards but still silver badge available only

Good solution.

Off topic - This achievement is currently flagged as missable - what exactly is missable about this? I swear this is wrong.

Nothing should be missable about it. As long as you equip a gold badge it should unlock. Maybe something was broken with the NASCAR update.

It's probably flagged as missable because if you get a gold badge and forget to equip it before you get the platinum for the same badge, you will have to earn an entirely new gold to get the achievement.

Shouldn't be missable. I got a ton of cars so I could reach 100 in my garage. Once I got the 100th car, it automatically equipped the badge. So that's how I got the achievement.

Easier to do with the Porsche Expansion. There a badge that is easy to platinum for just driving all the Porsche cars :o

In the main menu in the "Settings" tab there is an item "Change icon". Bet any gold and that’s it.
