How to unlock the Mod Buff achievement in Forza Motorsport 6 - Definitive Guide

Mod cards can either be bought in packs from the Mods menu during a race or in the main menu far right under the 'options' menu or they can be won from the prize spins.

If you're going to buy Mod packs they cost:
• 12,000cr
• 25,000cr
• 50,000cr
• 150,000cr
• 300,000cr
Each pack gives you 5 Mod cards and the more expensive the pack the better the reward. This will take 9 or more packs since the one you're given at the start counts. (Thanks Lavindathar for the info)

The achievement only counts collecting 50 unique mods since repeats do not count, thanks to Xonatron for confirming, so try to mix up which packs you buy. You do not need to have 50 Mod cards in your possession at once, just have collected 50 different total in your career, thanks to HSV4ME and ljwaves for confirming.

You just need to collect 50 in your career. Mine just unlocked and I counted 35 cards in my "deck".

Not totally sure but I had 50 in my collection but there was the starter pack and I won some on the Level Spin Wheel. I think you have to buy 50 with credits for the achievement to pop.

First pack counted for me. My tracker is showing a % increase and I've never bought a pack yet.

I tried buying the 12,000 CR pack over and over again and the achievement unlock percentage maxed out around 80..90%. I guess repeats do not count. Someone else should verify this.

Xonatron I tried to get this cheevo with only 12K packs an it worked. I started with 1,1million and ended with 800K. So it is possible.

I got the achievement after i purchased the Porsche expansion pack. After every race you win new mods which are very specific to the Porsche cars, so that way you can build up you mod count quickly

Mods can be bought from the mods menu. The cheapest pack is 10,000 credits and the most expensive is 300,000 credits. It doesn't matter which pack you buy, as long as you get 50 Mod Cards in total.
