Go to the NASCAR tab on the main menu and choose Leagues. These only have a limited time of when they are open, so choose one that is currently open or you might have to wait until one opens up. Once you join a lobby and get to the race track and the race starts, the achievement will pop. You do not have to finish the race.

I still to this day cannot get this achievement. I go into an Open lobby (green) but then it just keeps loading and then a message pops up saying "Failed To Find A Gama Session". I've tried changing the region settings on my Xbox but the same things keeps happening. Any ideas?

Have the same Problem as sennix. I even tried to boost with my second xbox, but it can't find anyone.

Not sure. People have still gotten the achievement as of a few days ago so I don't think the servers are closed down for it just yet. Maybe there's a minimum number of people that have to be searching rather than just two.

Sharing some information here.

I just unlocked this achievement with someone from England. I am in Mexico.

So it seems that the only factor is the division. We couldn't get someone to join us in the Pro division, he was one under.

Nobody has unlocked this achievement since Oct 30, 2020, so it’s very possible it is now unobtainable.

Likely nothing can be done. The game is 6 years old and this DLC isn’t even available for purchase anymore. If they haven’t fixed it in the last year they probably never will.

Sometimes multiplayer used to work but the NASCAR leagues were broken by the time the game died. I doubt this particular achievement will ever work again.

How do we get this fixed? It is unacceptable it just stopped working after October 2020. There was no announcement or anything. If the online starts working again, which they may have to manually do something to activate again, they can also activate the League hoppers again as well. But we need to act now while they Turn 10 are still looking at Forza 6. Please respond here or message me with your ideas.

As of now, September 2016, there are not many players on the leagues for NASCAR DLC. So it took me couple of tries to unlock this achievement since I couldn't find any player to start a race.

I'll just add that it's region related.

You need to find players in same region as you, I figured out when setting up a boosting session with 2 people from England (and I'm from France). I was unable to join them and our leaderboards for the league were different.

As mentioned in other solutions, as soon as you get in a lobby and start a race, achievement will pop. Good luck!

~~P.S. : credits to Bacavoit for mentioning it's not necessary anymore to be in the same region to unlock the achievement, which is cool for such a popular game. I couldn't check by myself though.~~

It is not region based, at least not anymore. I did it 2 days ago with someone from England and I just helped someone from Germany. I am in North America.
