Just to clarify, selling the mod for credits does NOT count toward this achievement. You must equip the mod and complete the objective (if any) to get the reward at the end of the race and have it count toward this achievement. Make sure you are equipping mods that have +XX% on the CR side to make progress toward this achievement. If it's an XP reward and not a CR reward it will not help you with this achievement.

The easiest way I found was to buy 22 crates that cost 30,000 credits each. That would cost you 660,000 credits. When you open up the crates choose the ones that give you 100%,90% and 80%.
Apply 3 mods to your car and go to Free Play. Chose your track and how many laps you want to race. I chose Homestead because it is an oval and you won't have much trouble getting around it. At first I was only going 2 laps per race and was only getting about 7,000 credits per race but later discovered that if I raced for 7 laps I would get 23,000 credits plus 1,900 credits towards the Forza Edition.
I don't know if it makes any difference what car you use but I chose the Orange Dodge Dart that was a Legendary car. By the end of the 7th. lap I was already lapping the other cars. The more laps you go for each race the more credits you will earn. I was comfortable with just 7 laps.
By the time you use all of your mods you should have enough credits to get the achievement.

If you buy VIP pass, you get a 100% bonus mod that can be used 5 times.

For this you’ll need to earn the 500k credits from mod rewards. Selling mods does not count towards this achievement. So, when selecting mods make sure to use the ones with a credit payout for completing their objectives and not the ones with XP only payouts. After enough mods used you’ll earn your way to unlocking this one.
