How to unlock the Rennsport Driver achievement in Forza Motorsport 7 - Definitive Guide

The 2018 Porsche 911 GT2 RS can be bought by normal means, but will not be available right away.

The car is in the Collector Tier 4 Bracket, so you will have to level up your Collector Tier before you are allowed to purchase it.

When you reach Collector Tier 4, the car can be bought for 315,000 CR. Buy the car and the Achievement will unlock immediately.

It may also be available from level-up rewards and Prize Crates, but neither is guaranteed. Once the Auction House becomes available you can also buy it from there although the price will vary.

I won this car as a Level Up-reward and I have it in my garage but no achievement 😢 Maeby I have to actually buy it...?

Edit: Car that I won earlier was 2012 model, not 2018... my mistake 🙂

I just won 2018 model from level-up rewards and got the achievement so I can confirm you can win this car although you may still need some credits to actually get this car (I didn't need spend credits since my level is 95 and my discount is 400,000)

@PretendCat When you level up (XP wise), you can get a discount off a specific car. The discount goes up as you increase your collection tier, up to a maximum of 400K. Since the car is 315K you can get it for free if it comes up when you level up.

Received this car as a FREE car from Forza Team (via in game messaging) today... not sure how or why (and the achievement popped, obviously)...

There are a few ways of acquiring the 2018 Porsche 911 GT2 RS. The first being the regular way of buying it straight out for credits like any other car. Second, it can be obtained from level up rewards or prize crates. Lastly, you can buy it off someone who is selling it in the Auction House, but it could be more costly that way. 

Before you can buy it outright though you’ll have to make it to the Tier 4 Collector.
