How to unlock the New Rival achievement in Forza Motorsport - Definitive Guide

In the main game menu go to RACE

Select RIVALS

Just chose any of them with any car. FEATURED is a great choice as the vehicle needed is usually discounted or provided for free.

Run a lap around the track and the achievement should be yours.

Either this is broken, or I am doing something wrong.

I've got the achievement for beating 20 rivals. I also tried the featured tracks.

After beeting my assigned rival, and saving the race, nothing happens.

Can someone explain what I'm missing ?

I've tried various things to no avail, it just won't unlock.

I’m having same issue. Unlocked achievement for beating 20 rivals, but not this one.

Started the game up today, achievement popped before I even got to the menu.
