How to unlock the Pride and Joy achievement in Forza Motorsport - Definitive Guide
You can use the assist functions to let the game drive for you while you're afk. You'll need to press a button to let the game know you're still there every 15mins. I chose to do 14min Timed Races as this will let you use Quick Upgrade between races which will give you better scores and a faster level up.
If you're doing this, hold down the accelerator (rubber band or whatever) as this also gives slightly better results.
So, from the Home page: -
- Race
- Free Play
- Quick Event Setup
- Choose your car
- Game type - Timed Race
- Track - Suzuka Circuit (my preferred choice after trying out a few different tracks)
- Track layout - Full Circuit
- Time of day - Doesn't matter but Night if you still need that achievement
- Weather - Doesn't matter but Rain if you still need that achievement
- Race timer - 14:00 (you have to press a button every 15:00 if you're afk so the game still knows you're there. This also allows you to use Quick Upgrades in between races which will give you better on track results and faster levelling) If you want to afk for longer then once your car is moving, press and then to show Friction data and you can leave it for as long as you like (with a wired controller).
- Number of Drivatars - 0
Before selecting Start Race: -
- Car - Quick Upgrade (to make sure your car is as quick as possible)
- Difficulty - Doesn't matter but set it to 8 if you still need that achievement. Club rules (you could choose Expert Rules and go for that achievement too but then you'll need to worry about tyres and fuel)
- Settings -
- Global Assists Presets - Choose Maximum Assists and then change 'Throttle' to Assisted
Start the race and watch it go (don't forget to hold the accelerator down for better results). When the race ends, select 'Continue' a few times and 'Restart Race'. You can then use 'Quick Upgrade' again in the 'Car' section before starting the race again. I started with a level 10 car and was getting a level every 3:40

Looks like holding down the trigger can make the car a bit squirrely so you'll want to keep an eye on it each time you upgrade to make sure it doesn't Off-track anywhere as this will 'zero' that section score (only gives you 1.0). Overall, I still think the gains are better than the losses.

Better using Miami oval or Indy in Rivals?

In the main menu, head to Race then Rivals.
Choose your car class and choose Le Mans as the track.
Then choose Le Mans La Sarthe Full for the track and choose your car.
To make this easier you can go into settings and set Global Assists Presets to Maximum and Throttle to Assisted.
Start the race and keep going until you complete the section called Indianapolis - Arnage. Once you complete this section, pause the game and skip the lap.
You should get a level a "lap", where each lap on average takes 3 minutes 30 seconds.
You can also use this method to work towards the following achievements:
