Frogger

The bugs in this game appear in the home slots. They are a red/blue sort of colour and will remain in the slots for a few seconds after appearing.

The best technique I found was to do this on the first level as it is the easiest to get through all of the traffic quickly and on to the logs. So, as I said, clear the traffic as quickly as possible and then make your way across to the final set of logs.

You should then pick a slot to focus on and stay as close to it as possible by moving back and forth between the last two sets of logs. When the bug appears in your slot, hop on. You will get a points bonus for doing it if you find it is a close call which should help to tell if you got the bug or not.

If a bug appears in a slot close to the one you are going for, only switch to it if you really feel you can get to it in time as you will move on to your next frog.

You can also afford to lose a couple of your lives if a frog doesn't appear and you don't want to fill the slot but by filling that home slot there are then less places for the bugs to appear.
