You’ll need to purchase all available gallery items to complete this. You’ll unlock more gallery items for purchase as you get more medals from completing levels with all collectibles, under the regular / expert times, and with no deaths. When I started grinding this I had a few of the gallery items already unlocked, so I am unsure of the total cost of all gallery items, but the following is the easiest and fastest method for grinding coins I could find, a guide by Ranemoraken on YouTube:
The guide has you completing level 1-3, Twisty Bridge, as quickly as possible while collecting 302/322 coins. Utilizing this method, I was getting 302 coins every 2 minutes, including end level screen and loading (average level completion time between 1:38-1:43). Doing guesstimate math, I’d say it’s approximately 40-45k coins for all gallery items. At the time I wrote this guide, my remaining gallery item cost was 22.5k.
