How to unlock the Full Dreadnought achievement in Frostpunk: Edition - Definitive Guide
Here are my tips to succeed. (Sorry if I did not have the right word in game stuff, my game was in French)
I have done this on easy difficulty. You need to focus on production of Coal / Steel and Food (Ration).
To win this success, you need to send to the Dreadnought :
- 500 peoples
- 5000 food (ration)
- 5000 coal
- 10 steam core
- 9000 steel
To send that number of people, you need to avoid losing people, at the start I get Radical Treatment, and build 4 medical post to cure everyone.
At the end you will need to get the engineers from scouting. You need to build prosthesis to cure the amputee otherwise you can't send them.
At the start I build 1 workshop and put people on available building, and clean the city.
After that build the steelwork, some hunter and some sawmill.
Building houses near the generator and destroying the tent to avoid cold.
Removing useless road.
Don't use that much coal production cause I have the outpost. Scouting is essential (get 2 scout) to find resources and new outposts (food and steel).
Later on, when your coal is ok with the current coal production, switch the outpost to steel.
Make stock buildings to continue production.
My research was based on, second scouts, steel upgrades (and build it ASAP), food upgrades and stock upgrades.
Faster outpost teams are important too, for the team, and for the dreadnought, initially it takes 1 day to get there, with fast outpost teams, it takes 20h.
Then, you can focus on heat and stuff.
You can build building and automate with the steam core, just destroy it when you need steam core for the dreadnought. And don't take the automaton on the bridge cause you will lose the steel outpost.
I hope this guide will help you. Best of luck.

Yes, you're right, along side you send poeple you will need less building you have, you can then dismantled it.
Switch to the steel outpost early can help too, but make sure your coal is ok for that.

steel was definitely the big problem, even with lvl 3 steelworks and autos working on them the second I had two autos, I still only had about 9500 by the end. One big thing that caused me to restart a few times was forgetting to reassign the steelworks to workers when the generator was being repaired, and then switching back to autos once the generator was back up
