How to unlock the Golden Path achievement in Frostpunk: Edition - Definitive Guide

After replaying different run throughs via saves I managed to finally unlock this and would like to share how I did it; so others don’t go through the experience I did....
Please give a thumbs up if your happy with this guide, if I get a negative; please ask for help If your stuck first before you do)

First of all this can be done on easy (why make it anymore difficult than it has to be)
Try to ensure no “needs crisis” comes up, lack of housing, food, heat etc. Make 8 tents before midnight day 1 and fill a medic hut before 1:30am day 2.
On your route with the scouts save before you reach gloomy cave and tesla city. If your scouts die, reload your save to keep them alive. (May take a couple of reloads) 🙈
You have to reach Winterhome before day 15, so that you don’t get a scripted death.
By then I signed the following laws:-
Child shelters
Engineer apprentice
Sustain life
Carehouse
Prosthetics
Once the Londoners arrive, I chose the faith law.
I went with the following laws:-
House of prayer
Shrines
Evening prayers
Temple
...outpost team, I went with steam cores and wood...

With those alone using whenever available, your hope will stay above 75% so that no Londoner will want to speak. (As hope drops dramatically once the scouts reach Winterhome)
During this time (when it pops up)
Let the clerics clean graffiti until one of them are injured (2/3 times). Then choose the option, we will pray for the man and the assailants
Ensure by day 17 you have close to over 1000 rations of food so that the following situation can occur.. people start to steal food at this point..
DO NOT GET HOUSE OF HEALING/PRISON, GUARDS/FAITH KEEPERS..
Once they start thieving (happens about 3times), let them steal it until the people get really annoyed with it.
Choose the option, Disperse the crowd..
...Londoners situation will soon be done.... Everyone stays.
The rest of the play through is straight forward.
If you get automations (it’s allowed)
Let the engineer carry on with the project and give him the steam core.
Someone will get stuck (close down building)
Someone will get injured (left as an amputee)
Slow them down..
a woman (around day 30) will ask for 2 food rations, you won’t bend the rules.
Man wants to leave to save his daughter, let him go and equip him for the journey.
People will start to steal wood, MAKE SURE you have over 1,500 wood a couple of days before the storm hits.
Cooks will start to steal food, choose there’s nothing we can do about it.
Accept everyone that enters the city, have infirmaries on standby (I had 7)
Research the lookout beacon once the last of the survivors reach the city
When the dialogue pops up for workers, let them stay home and pray.
Another one pops up to let them stay at home.

Make sure to keep an eye on the storm and bring back supply crew and once you’ve gone everywhere with all 3 scouts, bring them back to the city.
(Before I researched the lookout beacon I had completed all research available .. a lot of spare engineers about)
*Before the storm hits.. make sure you demolish The coal mines (not just take out workers) Build about 3 steam thumpers and 12 gathering posts to replace them. Remove everyone from the hunters hangers, cookhouses..
I had over 30k coal by this time, so I took everyone out of the thumpers.

Then finally wait out the storm (overdrive once everyone is freezing, lasts just shy of 20 hours,)
No1 should die. I had 692 (not including automatons.
Achievement will unlock once the cutscene starts

Please message me if I’ve missed out a dialogue and I will update this.

What do you mean by 'no needs crisis' comes up. I saw a video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h9IVmG-qFAA
and cold houses comes up.

Thanks to your guide and the other here I get this achievement. I had 688 population, and I can confirm needs crisis ok if you fullfill their request. On the last day when -150°C I had 192 ill uncured with 8 infirmary, but the storm ended so no one has died.

I missed the part about no Care House and built one, the scripted death forced me to sign the law for and build a Graveyard (and the special Funeral one I went ahead and got as well). I still got it despite getting those. I think only doing corpse pits and organ transplants would prevent it.

Followed your guide, but:

I could not disperse the crowd, lacking Faith Keepers / Guards, so 5 Londoners left, I gave them supplies.
15 people died on me, including 1 scout party. Dead people were refugees, treatment took too long (forgot the Extra rations for the ill law) and they died. I had cemetary with funerals.
Achievement still unlocked, finished with 669 people.

General: "Rules" I followed:
Fulfilled every request! Heating, food, shelter (choose the easiest one that you can DO),
ONLY EXCEPTION:
Right at the end you may get a request for "Coal Shortage". This is the ONLY time you can say "we will do with what we have" (basically refuse it).

No one died at all (not even scouts)
There normally IS 1 scripted amputee, sign the prosthetic law right away to avoid him from killing himself!
Rescued everyone, and sent scouts out to collect every refugee group (This ALSO includes the 5-8 camps/locations you will find Right before the storm hits).
Never cleaned graffiti (ignore it)
Always let the Londoners speak (You won't be signing the last law or allowing faith keepers or police, so you can't do this anyway).
If the Londoners do leave give them food (You can normally stop them with hope before they actually leave though).
Slowed down automatons (if someone is injured)
Gave the father food to look for his daughter
!!!!!!!!(THIS IS A REQUIREMENT! If you do not do this he will hang himself and the achievement will be voided)!!!!!!
Gave the people wood when they complain before the final storm hits (save about 1,500 - 2,000 (mine was 1,800))
Abandoned lower levels of the coal mine (When final storm hit's you will have an option to abandoned the lower levels of the mine or send 10 people in. Abandon it as people ALWAYS will die).
Various other "good" responses

Difficulty: Easy!
Before the final storm you should have: 630-693 people

I just got Golden Path on Easy. Hope this helps. (This uses Faith, see the attached answer below for the Faith alternative)

Adaptation:
Child Shelters
Medical Helpers
Sustain Life
Double Rations for the Ill
Care House
Prosthetics

Optional (NO ONE SHOULD DIE IN YOUR PLAYTHROUGH!):
Cemetary
Ceremonial Funerals

Faith:
House of Prayer
Evening Prayers
Temple
Shrine

Buildings:
Ring 1, 2, and 4: all houses
Ring 3: House, House, Watch Tower (repeat)
Ring 5: Overflow housing until the very end, then destroy Ring 3 Churches, and replace them with Houses
Other: Tons of child shelters (I had , care houses, hospitals, and infirmaries.
Heat: Noone ever in frostbite conditions except for 1-2 hours at the end from the storm.

"No one died at all (not even scouts)
Rescued everyone, and sent scouts out to collect every refugee group"

That's not possible on my run. There was an event where a refugee group was attacked by polar bears. Rescuing them meant that 5 of my scouts died.

EDIT: Achievement just unlocked. I had a few people dying and still got it. The end is truly brutal though. Wasn't prepared for it and ran out of coal (I thought over 10k would be enough...) and even quicker out of food.

It doesn't matter if people die as long it's not by severe laws or harsh abilies. So don't use faith keepers to stop Londoners from leaving for example, as it might result in deaths.

You don't have to save every group of refugees either and achievement unlocked for me even though I didn't help survivors who were attacked by polar bears.

I’m having an issue regarding the theft of food.. do I ask the faith keeper for help? And how many times. Or do I let them be. I’ve tried 4 times doing this achievement and still no luck

Thanks to you and the other guide I got this achievement. What an amazing game! I had 688 population first I thought I need to restart, but as you wrote between 630-693 is ok. 10 automatons and 9 infirmaries. That wasn't enough because when reached -150°C almost 200 people got sick. :( Anyways game ended before anyone died.

I just got this achievement.
Also you can make it easier on yourself by passing the Snow Pits, Organ Transplant, and Overcrowding. These will increase your medical tents capacity and increase the speed patients recover.
Also Fighting Arenas, Public House, Moonshine and Soup (very helpful) are also allowed and do not void this achievement.
I made multiple saves and reloaded whenever someone got too cold and frost bitten at work or home (although I’m not sure if that voids the achievement or not) and I ended e game with no deaths or amputations beside the one guy who got crushed by automatons.
